Here's a challenge.

Brad, you tried AFF for 8 months. take a screen snap shot of your stats, and send the same traffic to ClickCash for the next 8 months. Post screen shot, lets the stats tell the truth and the world to see. If i am wrong I will be the first to admit it. Can look at hits and even do a % per hit to make it fair if one 8 month period received more hits. I think it is safe to assume his free host traffic is pretty much consistant in quality.

Sorry but the site with the most "hits" doesn't mean anything to me... infact if it does mean anything it means that program is over saturaited. Same could be said for Clickcash (even though they are not on the list

) It all comes down to how you package your add. Doesn't look like AFF has much flexibility (but i honestly haven't looked indept into it). I wouldn't want to use the same ads that 2 million other people are using. That's another reason why I like ClickCash, i make all my own tours, ads, etc.. and tie their site into my design.

Hey I say we get Brad to take the challenge and we make a bet ;)

Sorry I've been out of the office and in meetings. I have a party interested in purchasing the freehosts from me and am giving them the next week to think about it. If anybody else is interested, you are welcome to email me at [email protected] but this party has first dibbs at the price I quoted them.

I believe it's worth reiterating that I think very highly of AFF. With the 4 or 5 sponsor programs I promoted before I switched it all to AFF I had inconsistent, unaccountable results. Now, with zero effort I get two consistent monthly checks from AFF and have 8 months of history where they've always paid on time and the numbers they count jive with my own stats.

I'm fully busy with MojoHost and 123Bill and have everything else off my plate except these small freehosts. If I had more time to spend, or any at all really, I'm sure that I could tweak the sites to do better with AFF or even just diversify and target a few different sponsors better. However, I don't.

So, rather spontaneously, I'm entertaining selling the sites. If the current offer I made to someone doesn't close I'll then entertain other ones. If nothing pans out, I'll re-evaluate the sponsor-traffic situation. I'm happy selling the property, it'll save me about 2 hours a month in work.

Forget the numbers, they mean nothing. Everything is about traffic quality. I've been doing this for 6 years now and although I am always learning, I do know quite a bit already. The only reasonable approach anybody could take to this situation would be to experiment with the traffic and see if they can do better. Anybody saying they could guarantee better results is putting themselves at risk because all traffic is not created equal.

The quality of the traffic is the key, correct. But in your situation your traffic quality remains pretty consistant, only seems logical. I dont see why you can't expect the same results from free host traffic week in and week out just the same as you can from tgp traffic, etc...

I am confident that you can make more money with sending your traffic to ClickCash (vs, what you made with AFF), There is no 100% gurantee with anything, but I am certain enough to make a friendly wager on it for a few bucks, (as post above) But now I see you are selling the free host and yes I am interested. Information is key in order to know where to redirect your traffic. Honestly, there's no absolute truth or answer to that subject. Some people might do better with some programs because of their quality of traffic.

I am not trying to bash your program, it looks nice and you do have a pretty good list there of affilates... I shouldn't even bother replying back and keeping this going you seem like nice people. I just can't help but point out the inaccuracies... When you say that the list only shows your top 100 earners and that you pay out 1000's of webmasters thats cool.. but your #100 guy only made $40... so i guess it is safe to assume 101 - 999 isn;t going to add up to a whole lot of money. I think my statement is still accurate.

Will, I see your point completely...that's why I replied that I think people should try all programs, or atleast the top ones, to see what works best for them. Some people also consider other program factors though, money isn't 100% of their decision.

For example, I know some affiliates who would not mind making a bit less money, but getting paid weekly instead of bi-weekly.
