Neosporin Cured my flu or Just lucky - GoFuckYourself.com

After two weeks of dying from the flu (which is lasting about a month in my friends) I got desparate and applied a small dab of Neosporin inside my nostrils and on the inner nasal septum.

Two days laters all the yellow muscus is now clear. I don't need any decongestion medicine and coughing a lot less.

Did this work or am I just lucky that I'm getting better?

on the contrary i have a friend who had a doctor apply this method for a sinus infection,which is most of the time what a cold is!

I just took some Ben Gay and it cured my Herpes! You just have to deep rub them directly into the sores.

Well I don't really know that it is the flu.
My friend said his doctor said anti-biotics were no good for this and usually they are for the flu but not a cold.

I call it the flu becuase I had a headache and it last more than a week.

i didnt realize it was gonna revolve around the flu or a cold just that this neosporin thing sounds very possible,because a sinus (infection) feels very much like being sick to me?

Sinus Inefection = Internal
Neosporin = Topical Ointment and the topical region is outside the body.

No way for Neosporin to cure an internal infectin. Sorry.

It's common fucking sense. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know about basic aerodynamics and it doesn't take a surgeon to know that fucking neosporin can't cure internal infections.

I got the idea because I once had a nose infection and the doctor had me put neosporin inside my nose. It was a nasty infection that was growing for a week but only one day of neosporin and it was virtually gone.

I used a q-tip swab to stick the neosporin up my nostril.

Sad to report that sticking it up your nose is still topical (it would also be topical if you stuck it in your mouth just for future reference). If you had herpes or a canker sore on the inner lining of your nose then yes, I can see how that would help. But to say that it got rid of your flu is just downright sophmoric.

Send out a newsflash to all the old people that weren't able to get flu vaccines this year because of the shortage. I'm sure they'll be enthralled by this breakthrough.

I already said that it may not be the flu.

In any event; If someone has green or yellow mucus comming from their nose then I say try it because it seems to have stopped that and my congestion.
