To the complainers...Don't cheat and you'll do just fine. To anybody that doesn't run a program and bitches about cheaters being treated unfairly...shush please! It's difficult for non-program operators to understand the problems, hassles, expenses, legal issues, and general PAINS IN THE ASS that cheaters cause. No matter if it's a free host, a sponsor program, a pay site, a hosting company, or any other service, cheaters always try to get "a little more" out of it. That "little more" might be $50, and it might be $50,000. No matter what it is, it comes out of yours and our pocket. It sucks. It's a complete waste of time dealing with many of these people, because by the means of most of their methods, they don't obey the rules by which you and I survive. They are thieves. The rules are in place for reasons, if you don't like the rules, don't use the program. If you don't like the rules to all the programs, get out of the business. And, Yes there are many exceptions to this. A miscommunication, a deleted file, a freehost putting a banned word in the header, or a half of dozen things can cause a problem...and many times the sponsor will recognize this for what it is...a mistake...and life will go on. But this is the exception. I just hate to see honest people's time being wasted trying to defend their stance against cheaters. Why would that need defended? Candidclick knew that traffic will go with paintop.com. Candidclick thought that I shall send to Candidclick teen- traffic? What may be on a site with a name paintop ? Candidclick has accepted me and my resource in the program and accepted my traffic. I sent the best traffic from the first position paintop.com within 3 months. They would accept and is farther if I have not suspended traffic and would not demand money. Thus they have agreed to work with me. They received traffic. They should pay. I think so.

Candid has to pay back his customers for all the cheated traffic. He has to put time into this to find the cheater, block him and answer on this BBS to BS threads. All this in the end is a waste of money and time. It's a damn good thing if he can make a couple of bucks out of the cheaters, to cover all the costs involved by this. I don't see any problem with freezing the account and keeping the traffic cheaters are sending. In the end it's only better for us, legit webmasters that play by the rules...

We never manually customized anything on his account. He was opening popup windows with target=_blank which does not require referral tracking to be turned off.
I checked the notes on the account and there is NO note of any changes made on that account. Keep in mind that we have 8 employees working for us and I don't always make changes personally. However, if a change WERE to have been made it would have been noted by the employee because employee accounts are required to note all changes made to a webmaster account with the custom click thru software we developed. Also 12clicks is not a racist. That's absurd. Just because he doesn't allow Russian webmasters in his program, doesn't mean he is a racist. We don't allow webmasters from Russia or Poland either. Like I stated before, I'm Polish. Does this mean I'm racist against myself? Let stop throwing the race card around, I'm getting sick of it. I dont even get why the hell did this thread get so big.
The idea is simple with lots of per click and other programs. If you cheat you dont get paid and dont get notified. Notifing a cheater would be too polite especially with assholes that deal with rape and such sites. Anyways we always found that cheaters make all the noise about not getting paid. If i were a cheater i would just hide myself and not expect a public humiliation. Also maybe its a good idea afterall to post all the info about cheaters on public boards if they complain. if i was a sponsor i'd keep accepting cheat traffic. also i'd contact the FBI when necessary. sometimes ppl cheat with traffic that does not require imprisonment (such as not using the text link at the bottom of an AP banner)... wouldn't u still accept the traffic?
however, what i'm not sure about, is would i only answer the fifth letter from the webmaster asking where the checks are? (candidpublishinginc, did u really only reply to his fifth letter?) shouldn't a sponsor reply to the first one (assuming the case doesn't have to be handed over to the FBI)? i highly doubt any sponsors make much effort to get back to cheaters on their whereabouts of their checks. but eventually you have to reply at some point! |
