I don't think .ca ever really took off in Canada, just like .us never really took off in the US.

depending on what domain it is..
but .ca is much more risky then .DE for instance. the market is still regulated (only for canadians),pretty small and canadians still go for .com's. before the market is availible to everybody i recommend to pay low.

I got tons of killer .ca but I would never use them to build a site over them unless it's a project directly related to canada and if it's a straight project. Paysite I don't even think about it anymore. We started with www.adultcontent.ca and we had TONS of webmaster thinking .ca was for california.... imagine how surfers can be lost ;)

I think .ca domains are mostly good for SE value.

Men.ca has some value ..but doesn't worth 20k... probably 5k if you found the right person with the right project

If you want sexe.ca let me know

Take care

Well have a read through the regulations for .ca befor you buy it.
They arent afriad to take the domains back if you violate them.

Blog.ca sold for $20,201 on Ebay. (Link)
That is the biggest. CA sale I have ever seen. Nothing else has been even close.

Here's a sampling of .CA sales from last week, per DNjournal.com:

AdultSexToys.ca $600
Router.ca $500
Correo.ca $500
Square.ca $400
Week.ca $360

Maybe these results will give you a better insight. I would think to spend $XX,XXX on a .CA name it would have to come with a large amount of typein traffic, be a premium (or ultra-premium) name, and also be something the propsective new owner just needed to have.
