ok i catch it, the original one was harder ;)

You stand at a fork in the road. Next to each of the two forks, there stands a guard. You know the following things: 1. One path leads to Paradise, the other to Death. From where you stand, you cannot distinguish between the two paths. Worse, once you start down a path, you cannot turn back. 2. One of the two guards always tells the truth. The other guard always lies. Unfortunately, it is impossible for you to distinguish between the two guards.
You have permission to ask one guard one question to ascertain which path leads to Paradise. Remember that you do not know which guard you're asking -- the truth-teller or the liar -- and that this single question determines whether you live or die. The question is: What one question asked of one guard guarantees that you are led onto the path to Paradise, regardless of which guard you happen to ask?

"Which road would the other guard tell me to take?"

Then go the other way.

What threw me off is, I didn't know the guy knew which one is Sarah and which one is Emily before he asked the question.

He doesn't know. He only knows which one lies and which one doesn't.

Two people are found dead in a cabin in the middle of the woods.

How'd they die?

The answer is in the sentence.

I meant by name, not by looks. He doesn't know which is which, but he does know which one lies (i.e. Sarah) and which one tells the truth (i.e. Emily).

what if Sarah is married, and she is the truthful one, and I ask her?

then the answer is yes----

You need to stick to jumping cars on your dirtbike becase apparently you cant read. Or you can have some try reading the riddle again for you so you get it rite.

I dont like these because there are no "real" solution. You could come up ith several answers.
