Wheat recipes???
So everytime food aid is given to poor countrie, the news always shows giant bags of wheat being dropped in. Now obviously i must be missing out on a great way to save money when feeding my family.
So, can someone tell me what i should do with it after i buy a few big bags of wheat? Do i eat it straight from the bag? Boil it? |

It's really good on Pizza...but I think most of the poor folks who receive this manna from the skies bind the stalks and use it to whip each other in their various ethnic conflicts.
It also makes a delicious risotto, just keep the chaff for a garnish. ------------------ "relax...the frog's a ventriloquist!" |

You can eat wheat like rice but it's best when used as bread or pasta. I imagine it will be used mostly as wheat bread. However, a lot of people are allergic to wheat & don't even know it.

When I was poor and in college, Top Ramen was a great food source for me.. You could even eat it raw!
And sometimes if ya find a sale you could buy like 20 for a buck!! Remeber that guys? Why dont we just send them Top Ramen? You dont even need water for it, you can eat it dry and its great! |

Hostess Inc. should do a great promo thing and send billions of Twinkies! That would be great marketing for em..
Everytime we tune into CNN we'd see people smiling and stuffing their faces with twinkies! It would be great product recognition for Hostess Inc.! |

Better yet Lensman should send tons of GFY shirts to the refugees since a cold winter is upon them!
When ever the news focuses on the Afgan Refugies they would have a shirt that would say go fuck yourself on it.. Great marketing and name regonition! I could see thousands of afgans with GFY shirts on cant you?? Vision it! Wow! What an idea. Im already thinking of starting boneprone family shirt production just for this! |

Yeah, you could eat Ramen dry...but what about those flavor packs? That'd be a little like eating sand. At least the Ramen are crunchy. I don't think most of those people have teeth, either...could pose a problem.

Top Ramen is a dry soup rather than canned. This offers several benefits. One is that the noodles and seasonings are prepared fresh, not reheated. It's easy to store and handle, and is fast and convenient to prepare; that makes it perfect for a quick meal or snack, at home or away. The main benefits are great taste and convenience.
Nissin ramen is versatile. Recipe ideas are abundant and are available to customers and consumers through Nissin trade and in-store promotions. One must not forget that the primary feature of Nissin regular ramen is its quality. This is a direct result of the care taken in the quality control testing of raw materials, the manufacturing and the processing of the ramen product lines. All of these factors lead to consistently high-quality products, ultimately providing excellent value. |

![]() What are Ramen Noodles? There are many types of ramen designed for fast, convenient preparation. All contain the same basic ingredients: flour, water, salt, dough conditioner, and seasonings/spices. Nissin has two main advantages over our competitors, however. First of all, we develop our products so that they satisfy a wide range of consumers' needs and tastes. Secondly, we use a kansui (sodium carbonate) in our ramen. The kansui softens and moistens the noodles, giving the dough a yellowish color, and enhances viscosity, allowing the dough to mix with the proper amount of water. This process is the main advantage Nissin has over competitors. Throughout our company's history, Nissin has been recognized as one of the major innovators in the production and marketing of ramen. Top Ramen, the first ramen introduced to the United States, has been the top of the line ramen product for the past 30 years. The Cup Noodles product incorporates numerous technologies world wide, including noodle shape and packaging of the noodles. [This message has been edited by boneprone (edited 10-04-2001).] |

I always wondered why they gave those starving ppl wheat coz there's nothing to put with it. Have you ever seen thoseads where they show how filthy the water is there???
i guess they'll just have to eat there wheat dry - uugggghhh !! reminds me of when i was a kid - i used to grab a huge spoon and steal icing sugar outta the cannister...then my mom caught on and one day she filled the cannister with flour! - If you've ever had a mouthful of dry flour you'll understand how bad it was... I saw a new bulletin last night from uzbekistan - two kids were wandering around in the desert digging up holes... they were looking for BRAINS that had been stored underground by RATS to be eaten later!!!!! Most people there only eat once a week (if they are lucky). Imagine having to steal food from a rat! --- www.sexcontents.com - Penthouse Pet of the Year only at Sexcontents |

Oh Boney, I just had this visual of the CNN camera panning over all these Arabs wearing shirts that say go fuck yourself, eating twinkies and waving to the camera.

Squishy and Jamdin,
if you want to drink beer, try german beer. Most of them use barley instead of wheat to produce the malt. "Bitburger" or "Karlsberg" should be available in the USA (and maybe in Garys Meth Lab too). |
