Funny thing happened today. I went outside to get my morning paper, and 3 bags of wheat parachuted into my backyard. I think they missed their target by a few thousand miles, but tonight i eat like a king.

Well, there's seven of us, and I always wind up sending at least half of what I grow (twice a year...it's perennial) to the local mulino to get ground up into flour...probably about six months, depending on how many dependants are in your refugee camp....

Gary, while you're at it, ask Kofe Annan if they'll spot me a new thresher...or maybe they can just send me some donkeys that they confiscate from the Taleban...I'll donate my surplus to the starving in return. Shit, I'll do it anyway...as long as they come and get it.
