Amen, brother. I'm clocking 0:2720 this week.
Maybe their fraud scrubber is SO GOOD, it scrubs even legit signups. I have a non-adult site and our card processor sometimes rejects perfectly good cc's -- particularly from overseas. Quote:

Tell me about it - I cannot believe this crap. The more traffic I send the lower the signups! I guess it's getting about time to look for another processor. Anybody got any ideas ( besides epoch )

The main problem is when you do a promotion - totally unaware that their processing is having problems. You spend alot of money and get no results - call them and they say everything is fine. Bullshit

I used them for a while on my first paysite..
When they started lying to me about a check-said it was sent on scheduled date..well, when I got it it was postmarked 6 days after they swore it was sent out on scheduled date. They take forever answering emails-could wait days for a response.I stopped using them and went to GloBill. We use iBill as our primary, they have problems but all processors have problems.
It sucks, I pull out my hair sometimes, try getting 100's or 1000's of trials a day then iBill has a problem and you drop 25-50% in trials that day. That is our situtation, now think about yours and you will think its not so bad. Amateur pages uses iBill think about how many trials they lose when processing is down. Shit I think about them, makes me feel better ![]() Epoch is our backup, I've heard similar bad things about CCBill, there is no processor out there that people are completely happy with, just gotta deal with the ups and downs. ------------------ Platinum Bucks Cash4Blind VP, Marketing & Operations |

If ibill is primary - how do we set up epoch as secondary? The join page is on ibill's servers. We used to use epoch as primary and ibill as secondary , then got rid of epoch.

I run the ibill rev-share program and see that the return e-mail after signing up to the program takes a few hours. Is this normal?

Everyone welcome to the Painful world of Credit card processing.
They all SUCK! try to pick the one who sucks the least :-) iBill is the biggest I believe, I stick with them cause I dont want my processor going under and then all my rebills are gone and then there BIG trouble. How many processors have already gone under?? Careful wit the smaller unknown processors who promise you more, you are taking a much larger Risk to be sure! ------------------ Platinum Bucks Cash4Blind VP, Marketing & Operations |

Well you didnt know that cause it isnt true.
They DONT send emails to people when their membership is about to expire. They are not stupid. Im my opinion Globill is the best fucking processor there is and still so underestimated. None of the big guys use them. Its a shame. |

Maybe...they're just protecting themselves from possible legal action/consumer complaints. The FTC is kinda hard-nosed about consumer complaints. [See RJB fiasco re dialers].

I am a little worried as I didnt and emailed them..They said they were sent as scheduled but, its been 8 days and I havent received mine yet. I am in the US so it shouldnt take that long. Yes, I agree with you that they all have their problems - I have used 4 processors over the last 3 years. Ibill though has been terrible lately - very inconsistent!

"If ibill is primary - how do we set up epoch as secondary? The join page is on ibill's servers. We used to use epoch as primary and ibill as secondary , then got rid of epoch."
------------------------------ Smutwizard -- you do this thru what I believe IBill calls a web bad page -- you basically are telling the surfer there was a problem and giving them a chance to either try the card again or to use a different one. The processor isn't giving you the card number in the pass (tho it is possible to pre-fill the other fields such as name, address, etc, with some processors). Talk to whomever handles your account at IBill and they should be able to walk you through setting it up. shunga -- what I know about IBill fits in one line -- they pay on time, they are easy to work with. We recommend them as backup to most customers where we are the primary (the few exceptions would be free trial people since to the best of my knowledge IBill doesn't do a free trial) -- Bottom line is that it's always a good idea to have two processors -- no one is up 100% of the time, and sometimes in scrubbing good cards do get declined, based on factors besides just the card number. |

So which CC processor accept most international card?
I have used CCbill to purchase a script but it rejected my card. It's a good card. How about Globill? Will they reject international card? |

Bear -
Unfortunately today, non-US cards present the highest risk and the lowest profit margin to almost any merchant acct. This is not by any means saying that non-US cardholders are in any way grouped into some sort of category other than being non US. What it does mean is that given the recently restricted chargeback ratios that Mastercard (1%) and Visa (2.5%) have imposed on all merchant accounts, everyone has to take a closer look at what they are doing. Contrary to popular belief, a merchant account holder such as a third party processor doesn't want to be at 0% cb ratio -- it means you aren't letting enough good stuff through with the bad if you see this -- just like any other high volume enterprise, you should see glitches, it's a sign of the volume being done. But for those that have run close to the edge on the previous cb ratios (which could often be found in the 5% range), this halving of cb allowances will mean some belt tightening. CCBill, which is the only one I can specifically speak of, has the same 33 countries on the banned list today as we did 6 months ago, when cb rates were much more forgiving. We haven't had to increase our scrubbing to meet the new standards but we do evaluate non-US cards from countries we accept more stringently, for various reasons, including the fact that its much harder to get any recourse from non US cardholders in the case of prosecution or litigation. There is a very simple reason that cb ratio allowances for adult transactions have been lowered and the fines have gotten progressively stricter when they are imposed: for several years adult merchant accounts took full advantage of the cc system, sometimes to the extent of putting banks who handled their transactions out of business. If you really want to get a good look at how this happened, there is an EXCELLENT article -- long but very good at explaining where the problems started -- these arent the only companies who played loose and fast mentioned in the article, just a couple of the more famous ones -- http://riverfronttimes.com and do a search for porn -- the article is called Porn In the USA -- |
