In 2006 or 2007 the world will have reached the peak of oil production world wide. In other words, we'll be producing less and less oil every year until we run out in about 2040. In the next ten years Iraq will be stable, and will more or less be controled by the US - and will be a great launching pad for future attacks into Iran and - gasp - Saudia Arabia.

By 2020 the United States will own 60%-80% of the world's oil reserves, at the very moment the shortage of oil will become a huge crisis.

Think about it. Requirements for oil raises an average of 2% a year, and shortly we'll be unable to meet the current demand - the the current supply will decrese. The United States will cut off everyone else from oil.

Japan went to war with us in the 1940's because they were cut off from oil. WW3 is right around the corner.

The bottom line is as long as George Bush is elected again the next time the UN inspectors go in they will be allowed to search what they want, when they want because that leader will fear the same thing happening to them.

Cowboy Diplomacy works. It worked when Regan did it, and it will work when Bush does it.

The only reason it will fail this time is because Bush doesn?t have Regan?s oratory skills and he can?t explain in sound bites why the war was good for the world and short sighted American kick him out of office.

No offence but its really a dumb question.

-- By all accounts Sadaam killed 300,000 of his own people.
-- Everyone knows he gassed his own people.
-- He two times invaded other countries.
-- He tried to develop nukes. (Yeah, we know now he failed)
-- Aproximately 100,000 Iraqi children a year died because Sadaam refused to honor his surrender treaty.

The real reason the rest of the world opposed the war is racism. You can bet your fucking life if he killed 300,000 Frenchmen or Germans it would not have taken 10 years to mount an invaision.

But as long as Sadaam kiled only brown people, the white world yawned and said "no biggie".

Its just like when Japan started invading countries in the 40's. The world did nothing.

Until some white people died in Hawaii.

Fuck Sadaam. I thank Geroge BUsh for that war, even though I am voting for Kerry. Yeah I know its idealistic but if you look at the history of the world we are moving towards a time where despots will get kicked out by an angry world with some regularity.

The higher ups are the ones getting away with it. The ones that did what they are told (if you read stories, it was said by some they were told to do it and the head of the prison was giving orders to do torture). So we are making scapegoats and blaming them...but letting the leaders of it go without any action against them.

I have a few friends that came through Vietnam tell me the same thing. There is widespread belief that they went around killing women and children, and they resent it. All of them told me in their entire tour of duty they never saw such a thing, not denying it happened, just that it was not the norm.

Anything on the planet you lauch with 1,000,000 people, let alone with guns and under 21 years old, will have some fucktards.

Conspiracy theorists crack me up. You can't keep shit secret in the U.S. If some higher-up is dirty, more than likely he will pay. And what the fuck does this have to do with Iraq? Police beat up, even kill people, all the time, so - we should get rid of all police?
