It absolutely fucking amazes me how gullible people are. I know dozens of people who have been in Iraq, Vietnam, even WWII in my fathers generation. In all wars some fucked up shit happens, some get away and some don't. You can't give 250,000 men guns and say "go out and kill" and not get a few crazys, what does this have to do with anything???

The higher ups are the ones getting away with it. The ones that did what they are told (if you read stories, it was said by some they were told to do it and the head of the prison was giving orders to do torture). So we are making scapegoats and blaming them...but letting the leaders of it go without any action against them.
