It does'nt matter how legit, loyal, trustworthy, ethical or hard-working you are

All that matters is how you market yourself, your company and how you treat those who you must work with in your endeavors, whether they're friends or enemies.

Did you see the suprise from people at my puny downline? My real downline puts many people to shame and it's made up of people that never owned a site before I talked to em. Crazy world adult is.

All the marketing in the world means squat if you are known to be disloyal, untrustworthy, unethical and a slacker. Case in point, Wet Honeys. How many people did he rip off?

No it's not, first you have to have something to market, be able to deliver and then marketing is King.

Try marketing dog shit or the Crown Jewels for $50.

Business is normally about three things, there are others but these are the main ones.

Product.

Delivery.

Marketing

With one element you will fail, any two elements you might just struggle by, with all three you will succeed, the extent depends on the quality and balance of the three elements.

Before I arrived here I could shoot content, so had a product. Knew how to deliver it and set about building sites to do just that. Then I needed marketing, so made myself as conspicuous as possible in this section of the porn industry.

I think CyberTraffic is living in the past, becasue sites that do not deliver today get shut down by Visa or never open up. We as an industry are delivering a better product every day, those who think all they have to do is drive more traffic at a site that is full of crap or does not work are fools.

And can they please close the door as they leave.

I disagree. I've made plenty of money sending to sites you would call crap but I set up my own pages to promote them. All in the marketing.

I did not say you would not make any money.

But how much more money would you have made by sending the traffic to good sites full of good content that was well delivered?

Or do you think sending traffic to crap sites is going to make you more money?

There are other elements to this, can all the people working in the industry recognise the difference between good and bad content? Look at some of the girls in the "Hot Babe" threads. Enough of the surfers can to make a difference to your income.

Then what damage has it done to everyones income by turning a paying surfer into a free surfer? If what we offer is no better than what he can get for free, what damage does that do to all of our incomes?

I would have made the same. I work with webcams. The site in question had a common webcam feed that many sites use, many of which only charge $20 per month. The site was filled with content only so the front end could be setup where nobody would know what the fuck I was doing, a generic paysite. I know a few others here that market similar to the way I do and I would bet that collectively their ratios / income is more than the average webmasters by a long shot. Now, standard TGP traffic would be a different story where fresh content could make a difference. Lucky for me I don't specialize in TGP traffic.

you do realize that you're talking to a wall here right?

99% of the people here are not of the level of business that you're creating a post like that for. They don't care, and they never will.

In this case he would be talking to a wall. This is simply because I made more on my $700 initial investment than most could hope for on thousands spent. $300 of the investment was just to make the cookie cutter frontend so nobody would be snooping around my shit trying to figure out what I was doing.

I think you're right, 90% here adopt the "Throw shit at a wall and some will stick"

Fortunately they are dying off ar getting smaller, becasue the member is starting to learn the power of the charge back.

Do you think we would be at a 1% cieling if we adopted a different attiude?

Stocktrader still thinks that by improving his product it would of made no difference to his income. Duuuuhhhhh.

Let me explain in detail for you since you don't get it.

I took a webcam feed that hundreds of webmasters use. Most of these webmasters load their site with custom content, personal cam shows, and filler content then charge $20 to $40 per month for a membership.

I took the same webcam feed and put it in a members area. I put in cheap filler content just so I could make the frontend look like "just another paysite" and MARKETED it in a different way. Not only did I charge more for a 1 week trial than some get for a monthly membership, I rebilled to $50 per month and had retention longer than what I've heard the industry average is.

Now to make it clear one last time: I MARKETED something that hundreds of webmasters market also. Without any extras in my site I charged more for it than any others do and converted at a great ratio. Point being my MARKETING took a standard feed and made it worth much more. Duuuuuuuuhhhh.

Don't put me in the same category as that fucking pedophile! Unlike him, I am a REAL webmaster who runs sites for models. My models are sweet and they OWN me. I'm just an animal in a cage. Their sites convert. That's the bottom line.

So you would not of made any more money by having the same GREAT marketing and a better product?

No matter how much you argue you can't get around the fact that if a product is better, more would have retained and spent more. Marketing is important but if you use the same level/skills market product A that is super, you will earn more than marketing product B which is inferior.

If you use good content on the tour you will attract more, if you use better content to drive more traffic so you convert more. Being on 100 TGP sites a day with bad content will never bring the response of being on 100 TGP sites with good content.

Unless you could not recognise a better product.

Like I said Duuuuhhhhh.

And I'm telling you for a fact using a tour would have made me less money. The marketing included bypassing the damn tour. I already told you I don't use TGP's where your theory holds water, I prefer good traffic.

So you gave the surfer nothing to help him decide to sign up, just a few words?

But then words are also content and the right ones will sign up more than the wrong ones.

And once inside your site the content had nothing to do with the retention or the level of charge backs?

Even if it's poor content, but poor content at a great price, that makes it great value. Therefore great content for the price. But if you can deliver better content for the same price you would have earned more.

I understand that the number and quality of people that see a site reflects what you will earn, but the product and deleivery also effects your income and you can never get around it.

However to the others reading this, who might have less of a closed mind.

What you sell, how you deliver and the number/quality of people you show it to directly effect your income.

There are lots of little tricks you can employ to tweak up your response, but ignore or downplay one element and it will have a detrimental effect on your earnings. Always be looking to improve what you deliver, how you deliver it and how you market it.

I start thinking more and more that boards are only a waste of time.

If you don't shoot content, don't sell traffic and don't own any affiliate program, you don't have to be here.

Actullay I couldn't agree with you more. However I seem to have won a contest that you yourself put togther. I won 1st prize $100 in traffic from Triple X Traffic.com. I haven't heard from you and I haven't seen the traffic yet. This was a few months back mind you.

I think you Need a Blend.
I Personally Don't Market Myself on Boards alot. I use Hard working and trustworthy for a Word to mouth Sort of Marketing.
You Can market Shit to Look good in the Right angle. but in the End Shit is Just shit.

Not true.
Marketing can only get you so far.
Hard work and a good product make companies successful.
You can market shit to someone and they will buy it, but it is highly unlikely that they will come back. And no matter how you look at it, a repeat buyer costs any company less than a new buyer.

They work. I added a full 3 inches already, so Im up to 4 now. lol

That is an exception. Because with ""medication"", the customer will try things again and again because he hopes that it will help. Same thing with weight loss products. Ppl HOPE that the next thing they buy will help them lose weight while eating and watching tv all day. And even though the products dont help, ppl buy the next thing because of thier idiotic hopefulness.
