why would you show conversions off 2nd page?

I understand 1st page (traffic sent / very important), join page (which i really don't know how useful this one is but cool to see like i guess 2nd page uniques / conv), and from a sale submit to a cc page/ach page/ or other payment method (also useful)

i know we offer other stats then that...I never look at 2nd page stats, unles im deciding if the tours are good enough


that is the only reason i look at that particular stat


I use first page uniques to measure the true performance of my webmasters as that is how many customers actually came in through the door, so to speak.

i worry about impressions (CTR) on cpm deals only, so all you really need is uniques

so why do companies show 2nd page uniques again? Why are conversion ratios sometimes posted off of 2nd page uniques, how does that help someone see what is going on?

(and on that note how does someone elses conversions with someone elses traffic help you see how you'll preform, lol, no answer to that needed)

Sponsors got sick of lookin at 1:14000 ratios off some one sending them forced traffic.

Actually you can use that information.

If you are getting as many or more joins from the second page, as the first, you may want to take a look and see why. Maybe better text, maybe better photos, anything like that. The move those ideas to the first page as well and see if front page sales increase.

It is a better representation of the traffic that came to your site and was interested in what you were offering, either they were interested enough to check out your tours, or interested in checking out the prices to get in. First page raws and uniques, basically tell you your method to get them there was effective enough, and depending on the second page stats (raws and uniques) it reveals how well the site does at catches their attention, and that you didn't mislead them in getting there.

For example putting an ad somewhere offering the ability to see Paris Hilton get it in every hole by big cocked black guys, will get alot of first page uniques and raws, but if you site is georgesoros.com, you will find almost no one clicked on any thing deeper than the first page. Same goes for adult shit.
