One of My Models Killed by Drunk Driver Saturday AM

I can't believe it. This girl was awesome. She loved to pose, loved to talk to people... we chatted on ICQ frequently. She always told other girls great things about me and made them feel good about being involved in the "adult" industry. Out of respect for her family I'm not posting her name or photos, but this is horrible.

Folks, if you're going to drink, please don't drive!!

Drunk driving should be punished more severely to stop things like this.

Very sad.
So many people die because of drunk driving, but no government is willing to do what is needed to stop that.

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss, and I hope they catch the drunk driver, (if he's not already dead/caught) and convict him of aggravated vehicular homicide.

Condolances to her family as well.

Yep, most of us have driven drunk at one time in our lives. But you just gotta remember tragedies like this one and NEVER drive if you have had more than one or 2 drinks in the last hour.

really really sad

Sad to hear . Accidents are bad enough that result in death. Add in alcohol which is so preventable and its a complete tragedy. Positive karma to her family.

Man I am so sorry to hear this, it makes my stomach churn when I hear stories like this.

There was a guy on here the other week going on about how he had drunk a few and got pulled over and started chatting up the female cop.... welcome to the flipside I wonder if this driver knew their limits?

i wish people would get the message - I won't drive with anything more than 2 beers in me, if that. i can't think of anything worse than living with the guilt of screwing up and killing somebody and ruining another family's lives. probably rather be dead and leave them my assets.

Drunk drivers need to be treated like second degree murderers and have severe penalties like life in prison. The drunk driver will be scot free in a few months and probably taking his chances drunk behind the wheel again. Maybe some community service.

Why the government still allows hard alcohol and smoking is beyond me, other then they obviously make a lot of money from it.

Both should be banned for good.

That's so sad to hear. My mom was killed in a drunk driving accident so I know the feeling all too well. I actually lost 3 people in the accident that took my mom's life.

Drunk drivers should be strung up by their balls and beaten like a pinata.

My condolences to you and to her family.

7,000 children a year are killed in alcohol related crashes just in the US alone.

20,000 people are killed each year because of drunk drivers.

DUI driving is the nation's most violent crime, killing 1 person every 25 minutes.

500,000 people in the US are injured each year in car crashes because of drunk drivers.

30% of Americans will be in a crash in their lifetime because of a drunk driver.

40% of crimes are committed while under the influence of alcohol.

As to smoking, 5 million people die each year due to smoking. About 13,700 per day.

And you don't want this madness to stop?

Nice.

while drunk drivers kill pleanty of people, lets not forget, bad drivers kill pleanty of people as well. the people that have almost hit me, and one that did hit me, all appeared pretty sober to me.

we need more driving education. this will decrease drunk driving accidents as well as regular deadly accidents.

More education? Everybody that drives knows the slogan "Don't Drink And Drive" by heart. Any further educating is not required and would be a futile waste of money.

Regular accidents occur because 1) people aren't paying attention to the road (distracted or otherwise) 2) have some type of physical problem like temporary blindness or heart attack at the wheel 3) miscalculate the road conditions, like slippery roads 4) drive without thinking and disregarding what they've learned about driving.

Education cannot solve those problems.

these are the same things that happen to drunk people and are multiplied because of their drunkness.

most drunk drivers with a 1.0 dont get in there car, start it, and then floor it into a bus just because they've had a few drinks. they get distracted or whatever just like regular accidents.

if more people were defensive drivers, say goodbye to alot of accidents. I know if I'm driving really late down a road and see a car commming toward me, i move to the right a bit, and pay fucking attention as he comes by so I can move away fast if need be, not lighting a smoke, changing a cd or whatever.

Deffensive driving is the key to not getting in an accident. Only time I've been hit was by an old man in my old neighborhood who gunned it out of his driveway without looking.

sorry to hear it, for all who new her. I only hope that some justice is actually servd as here in the uk, it seems most get away with it by getting extremely poor sentances, if any at all. I have been driving for 18 years now and never , ever drunk and drove. A driving liscence should be seen as a thing that you earned, and are then trusted to drive a potentially lethal machine ... these low life drink drivers are fuckin pathetic ... look, now theyve got me swearing .... appologies, but there is no reason for it. Once again, please pass on my condolances.

I totally agree. Being defensive and driving in a reasonable manner is the key. But that's not going to happen 100% of the time and even when you're driving like this accidents happen because you can't always predict what other drivers are going to do. You could be driving fine and some guy decides to cut you off without enough warning to be able to stop in time. And we make simple mistakes sometimes no matter how hard we try.

But getting behind the wheel while drunk is completely different. It magnifies all the flaws above but it is avoidable. You don't need to drive after drinking. If you drink and then get into a car you should automatically be tried for manslaughter.

That's ridiculous. We not only know the slogan, we've all seen the videos and the results of accidents. Any more redundant education of that type is for the mentally retarded.

Those people that get behind the wheel while drunk ARE ALREADY AWARE. Making the aware, aware of something is dumb? Unless you want to have somebody holding your hand throughout life like a babysitter, education is not the key. I suppose if a teacher had stepped in and told this guy, don't get in the car because you may kill somebody, that would have stopped him, right? Right...

Somewhere along the line you choose to do things and you must accept the responsibility for it's consequences.

Oh wait, maybe we should educate people on how bad smoking is, LOL. 50 years of education on this subject isn't enough to get people to stop. How much more educating do you suppose you need before you say that smoking will give you cancer? You can learn that in an hour. Forget that, you can learn that in a minute, remember it you entire life, and never smoke as a result.

Tell me how educating will help all of the things I pointed out above.

If you're not paying attention, how is educating going to help? Somebody teaching you to pay attention to the road? They learned that before getting the license. Does that mean you pay attention every millisecond while driving? Let's be reasonable. Sometimes you get distracted and there is nothing you can do about it so help your Ivy League drinking and driving course education.

How is education going to stop you from sliding into a vehicle in icy conditions when you're going at 1 mile an hour in the hopes of trying not to run into him?

How is education going to stop an idiot who disregards everything that he learned (was educated on) about driving?

Education helps but it isn't a foolproof solution to all problems.
