I successfully grabbed a 1 word domain through snapnames

I only picked brandslams.com, which I am going to use for my own purposes.

One of the best things about looking over lists of domain names are all of the ideas you get for similar domain names.

In looking over those lists I have gotten ideas for several good domains and some of them were not even registered when I checked.

and you are so right about every domain on the list leading to new ones. also new businesses you never thought about getting into. but sooner or later, if you don't take a break, you zone out because they all start looking the same.

i miss going thru the list, but I do not miss playing catch up if I missed a day. worst feeling in the world is finding a name you wanted to backorder AFTER the 1 or 2 o'clock drop deadline.

Quick question... do you think more or less google results for a two word domain is best?

eg...

less results = more targeted to consumers?
more results = more [false?] appeal to domain buyers?

I registered a .com that has two words that fit together as a common real estate phrase. There are 321,000 results in google and the first few pages all refer to its intended usage.

PRD.com would have been great, theres a company in Au. called PRD Nationwide. prd.com.au - they're a realestate biz that probably wouldn't have international IP rights on the name.
