theres a way to tell when ANYone is lying.

ask them a question. if their eyes look up to the left, they're tellin the truth (thats the recall part of the brain)

if they look up to the right, they're lying/fabircatiing.....thats the "creative" part of the brain.

if only men would just catch on and play the same games. She's taking it to her grave buddy, if she doesnt and admits it you'll have the upper hand (as brief as it probably would be seeing how you're clueless about this in the first place) but she would never be able to look at your relationship the same because she's always had the upper hand and would feel inferior and ashamed. So, she's taking it to the grave and she probably thinks/knows that you'll just forget about it.

Are you sure you heard right? Not making excuses for her but there have been times in my own life I have heard wrong. Unless she was talking to you directly there is a chance you are incorrect. If you were eavesdropping from another room perhaps you misunderstood.

forgot to mention where I concluded she had something to hide. When started talking to me again I just said "I heard what you said" in kind of a joking tone and she immediatly became defensive.

I find her attitude towards this to be degrading, dishonest, and insulting. This is my girlfriend we are talking about here and I'm supposed to trust her. It has definetly been shattered.

Yes I am involved in a relationship and basically realized this girl has made me miserable for the past 7 months and her and her mom have some thing about hating men. I have found that the straight forward, honest technique works the best way. I.E. try saying to her "This is what I heard and this is how I felt....." and then say "And this is what I need to do for me....".
