The comment about me being on the computer was in reply to baba's forever bashing of my own images/looks,etc. That wasn't directed to you or to any of the girls it was in reply to her telling me my 1st weeks pic looked like it only took 5 minutes.

I'm unsure what I've every typed on this board to offend you. Actually, I didn't even know who you were until this thread.

Regardless....I guess it was time for claws to come out... all the guys have been waiting for a cat fight:graucho

Ivy

Like I sayed I didn't mean to offend you, and there is no way that I'm looking for a catfight. Maybe you didn't mean what it looked like in your first post, but to me it looked like you were saying that I didn't show the logo because I am not dedicated to GFY. You just said you didn't so I guess I had that part wrong.

After reading the entire thread, I would like to state

This is so much bullshit.

Would Vanilla even be questioned about something like this? No. What about Ivy? Um, no. Just because Bo isn't a family favourite and doesn't pal around at every convention shouldn't expose her to such hostility.

If she broke a rule, fine, disqualify her. Do NOT disqualify ANYONE for breaking "implied" rules. That is simply not fair. I nearly submitted a picture without both logos showing (huzzah!) Just think how the shit would have hit the fan then!

Let's talk consequences. If you *do* disqualify Bo over this, anyone who wins will have a tained victory, since I'm pretty sure Bo will give the contestants a good run for their money. If you let her resubmit a picture, you open up the same option to anyone else who has a question, two weeks AFTER the round has been closed.

Why the hell was this even brought up? And why now??

Ironhorse 06-24-2004 06:55 PM

Keep her in, she's hot as hell, also you need to specifically ask for logo to be visible if that's what you wanted..Nobody is a mind reader common people..

After all this drama, I'm agreeing with you Elli. If there was a problem with her image, it should have been dealt with when she first submitted it so she could have picked another that she already had in replacement. It was put into the vote thread and voted on, so obviously all at adult.com so no problems with it.

This thread is just drama and just prolonging what already has taken way too long.

I vote we move on to the next round....

And I'm not up for any catfights with you girls unless you wanna come to North Carolina:Graucho

I don't know why they must have there reasons or they wouldn't have brought it up. I'm not even in the top 10 btw so I don't understand what the big fuzz is about, but I would like to end this and know if I am in or out.

Like I said before. If someone would have told me before the voting I could have send them another pic within the minute. Maybe I am stupid for not reading between the lines, but I didn't break any rule.

WOW....I thought this thread meant that you won it ! That really means this was useless drama....I thought it was if you should be the winner with no logo on the pic...not to be disqualified altogether. Geez....

Of course you shouldn't be disqualified over this! I'm starting to think this was just another stall tactic for this week :(

I feel bad for the girls with bad pics because the problems can (almost always) be attributed to the photographer. It is really hard to take a bad pic of an attractive girl.

Even an average photographer can make any photo look really good and some of those photos really do look like hell. Instead of helping the contestants, the bad photographers are hurting them.

Remember, don't let just anyone photograph you.

For example, Elli . . . your pic is not very good. It has nothing to do with you but with the composition, etc. You should be right in the competition, but instead your apologizing for an ok/bad photo.

Your photographer should be beaten senseless with whips and fists!

You are hot . . . so maybe you don't care how many people know how hot you are???

In general I am very happy with my photo quality. That particular shoot was awkward for several reasons, and the pictures reflected that. *shrug* I really don't think a beating is in order, though.

Unfortunately this contest is primarily about the money (for the board)

SureFire 06-24-2004 07:49 PM

Ellie very well said. BTW, your new sig looks great.

Ivy, you are like a thoroughbred horse?competition is in their blood. Too bad most of them have beautiful bodies and ugly heads (take this statement as you wish).

BO?s first pic was accepted and was great along with others so what is the *big* deal?

for Round 1, i had a KICK ASS idea, drove at LEAST 5 hours back and forth to this park with old Cabins and the Mr. took the pics (and hes not a pro by a long shot) so all the pics turned out shitty. so, i had to do one outside my apartment. I put SO much time and effort and thinking and preparing for it, all to end up with a shitty entry pic. all due to the fact that i didnt have a pro take pics.

good post! :)

I changed my mind that Naked Bo should stay in the competition!

In good faith she has another sexy hot ass picture to prove that she was wearing the tank and T-shirt.

The rules were also somewhat misguiding and some of the girls were only wearing half of the outfits, being nude the other half.

Let's get on with the competition!

That's so true. I had some terrible pics taken by people who call themself photografers. My best friend took this one btw, she is not a photografer but she is better then a lot of photografers I know.

Unfortunatly most girls here don't have a pro to shoot them whenever they want

beergood 06-24-2004 08:06 PM

She should definitely stay in. If the round 3 rules were as simple as what was presented at the top of this thread then she didn't break the rules. It didn't say the GFY logo had to be showing just that she had to be wearing the ensemble. That plus the additional proof pic. No doubt, she stays.

EXACTLY!!! You shouldn't be limited by your access to a photographer! You don't even really need a "pro" just someone sort of artistic with a passion for photography. I bet your idea would have been able to have been executed had you had access to someone who was somewhat of a "photographer" let alone a pro.

SleazyDream 06-24-2004 08:20 PM

I posted earlier in this thread that I thought Bo should be allowed to stay in the contest, so I agree with some of your points, Elli. However, I don't agree with your comments about Ivy and me. I do not consider us "favorites" on the board. Everyone on this board has their own sets of fans and haters. I would expect to have my entry questioned if I did not follow the rules (I'm not saying that Bo didn't follow them).

Oh yes, a beating was well earned. Your photo looks like it was taken by someone with some (minimal) equipment and no knowledge.

First, why is there someone else with you? Whoever it is isn?t nearly as attractive as you (and she could use a good shampoo and conditioner (sorry)). Get her out of your photo!

Second, the background is horrible.

Third, the thing you are sitting on is odd and covered with an unattractive red material.

Fourth, the lighting is horribly basic. It doesn?t flatter you at all.

Fifth, your shoes???

Sixth, your pose???

Ok, shit no more criticism.

Even with all of these problems, you appear to be very attractive!

Your body is great! Your face is great!

I guess I am most bothered by the fact that I know you could have been a top ?vote getter? had you been photographed by someone with a bit of knowledge. I still love you Elli!!! Please don't be mad at me!

Joesho 06-24-2004 08:49 PM

Look at it this way, lets just say that hypothetically, this contest was based 50% on effort, and 50% on hotness...

well I would say she gets an A on each category...

so what the problem is?:winkwink:

Elli 06-24-2004 08:53 PM

Thanks BigG, I appreciate it.

Like I couldn't see that myself. Like I said, there were many reasons the shoot was awkward, and it wasn't all the photog's fault.

This is neither the thread nor the time for this. I realize the picture's shortcomings. I did not need you or anyone else to list them for me.

Arousal Design 06-24-2004 08:59 PM

who cares if you can't see the logo, its plainly obvious she's wearing the gfy clothes why the hell wouldn't she. what would she gain by wearing something else?

makes no sense. she made a misjudgement based on lack of clarity of the original rules... but didn't do anything "wrong".

disqualifying her would be a big, big mistake.

AND, if a contestant didnt get their clothes in time, it's GFY's fault not theirs in my opinion. So the girl who had to drop out should have been given a pass, an extention, SOMETHING...

Ash@phpFX 06-24-2004 09:02 PM

Davey911 06-24-2004 09:05 PM

Groove 06-24-2004 09:06 PM

therefore she did not break the rules. Fake drama? :glugglug

Joesho 06-24-2004 09:08 PM

Lets just say Hydroponically, if effort was impotant, that looks were in the process too.... anybody stoned?

Pornopat 06-24-2004 09:09 PM

Thanks BigG for trying to help. Criticizing my photographer is really not much good, though. He has shot some wonderful pictures of me in the last 6 years, including the sig pic you like, which was incidentally from the first round of MissGFY. Criticizing him is the same as criticising me, since we both work together on the shoots. I picked the background and the pose, and the girl with me was a whole other story. I'm not going to go into all the details. Suffice it to say, I was not happy with the photo, but it was all I had time to do, so I'm crossing my fingers that it's enough to let me advance. If not, oh well, not much I can do about it now.

Again, I understand that you participate in your photos but as a photographer he should guide you and help you avoid the mistakes I listed.

Not to be a total bastard, but Elli . . . a chimp with a camera could take some GREAT photos of you. YOU ARE GORGEOUS!!! Do you realize how hard it would be to take a bad picture of you? Your photographer should consider himself "lucky" to have such a model! You are beautiful and your photographer seems to only capture this fact "some" of the time. Attractive, outgoing, fun, you should be winning this contest! I think you are incredible.

CDSmith 06-24-2004 10:17 PM
