So we rush to show the graphics rather then report only the raw facts of the terrorist event.

The fact is though - we dont have to have full color graphics and footage to report the events on a global basis - to know the truth.

The graphics make money and increase ratings.

The most powerful information source on the planet is television not the internet.

We could try to say - "for this one particular type of terrorist act we'll only broadcast the data and not the graphics."

Why could we not make a few small steps in that direction?
