Check our solution - http://www.xpowerlinks.com/

Not expensive incredibly flexible links management script with advanced, but easy to use admin control panel, fully template driven appearance, static HTML front-end and many other unique features.

Feel free to contact ICQ 319797319 (or via form from site) and ask any questions or ask to try online fully functional demo of "admin area".

you should try to find one that lets you control the output pages it generates and preferably one that actually does generate html pages rather than utilizing dynamic pages imho

this will allow you to change the file extensions to suit what is currently en vogue with google at the time

you can probably find some good scripts to do this over on www.hotscripts.com

i recall seeing one a few months agao i think it was from a company called focal media if that is any help

No, but I've done a lot of research. I will shortly be buying the SQL version. It's the same script (modified) that runs hotscripts.com. Both versions can produce static HTML pages, the code is solid, and there's a good range of features and plugins. Plus there's a strong user/developer community, so have a look at their forums:

We used
And after this we wrote our Xpowerlinks :-)
Scripts from gossamer threads are good for mainstream yahoo-style directories, but not for adult link lists, because they don't have some features. But i know many LL using these scripts.
And also the price for Links SQL is tooooo high - $450.

A Gossamer Threads staff member told me (about 6 months ago) that hotscripts.com uses a modified version of Links SQL.

$199 per domain, including setup, support and all future updates.

If you need the LL design - we can offer our designer, who made the xpowerlinks website and some other link lists.

Have you sent the "demo request" from the site? Please, do it, to try script "admin area"

What are the features your script has that Links SQL was lacking?

It's not correct to compare our scripts.
I'm not going to abuse Links SQL at all.
The Links SQL is very powerful solution, using XML and other technologies. I think that Links SQL is ideal solitions for large mainstream (non-adult) portals.

On the other hand, our script was invented to build ADULT Link List, it was tested during 6 months at all-sex-links.com.
We combined the best traditional features for this software type and added many our exclusive features based on adult LL owners experience. Full list of features - http://www.xpowerlinks.com/features.html

So, if you like to build large community with "yahoo-style" directory and the range of interactive services - the Links SQL is your script.

If you like to build the classic adult link list (directory), like Penisbot.com, i recommend you to try our script - http://www.xpowerlinks.com

So, it depends of your tasks what script to choose :-)
