you should try to find one that lets you control the output pages it generates and preferably one that actually does generate html pages rather than utilizing dynamic pages imho
this will allow you to change the file extensions to suit what is currently en vogue with google at the time
you can probably find some good scripts to do this over on www.hotscripts.com

No, but I've done a lot of research. I will shortly be buying the SQL version. It's the same script (modified) that runs hotscripts.com. Both versions can produce static HTML pages, the code is solid, and there's a good range of features and plugins.
