Not too many people here understand where TDF is comming from and I am not pretending i do either but i will tell you man when you see things every day of you life you tend to have a jaded perspective on things. If 98% of the time you saw a cop they had there gun drawn or were kicking someone that you know ass or yours. Or harassing you every time you saw them for no other reason than what you are (not who but what). You might have a different perspective.

I would not think TDF is happy someone is dead but his comments are more directed at the group as a whole based on his and his peers expierance. So I dont think he was celebrating someone dying as much as showing his complete disrespect for cops. Which is a feeling I share. cops in theory are a good thing to have, as demonstrated in prior arguments for that side in this post.

However , in REAL life cops are usually assholes that have a serious us against them power trip going... and yes they do have race problems, and carry their personal issues to the job with them.
as you stated in another context, JR unless you have experienced this sort of Brotherhood (in the hood ) then you can not possibly know the feeling of this hatred being bestowed on you because of your color everyday ( see pimpdog for any color commentary needed to explain this to you)

life in this example is just like Pro basketball, it would be a much better game if the referees would call the game fair.....but they never do, and although you have a valid point that celebration of any ones death that was trying to look after your well being, (or the well being of another ) is not the most appropriate way of expressing your dislike for them....

I would say that judging another ones point of view (TDF for example ) based on YOUR life experiences rather than THEIRS is also an incorrect way to aproach the subject.

I was fucking around with my little brother and
his friends. I was drunk and I broke my damn ankle off
duty.

I spent 1 year on light duty, I sat at a desk all damn day
and had 2 different casts along with countless other
attempts to heal it. I was the Day Shift Watch Sgt.

During my light duty, I was involved in 2 serious
police altercations and I reinjured my ankle. 1 of those
was driving to get lunch 1 month after the first injury.

After 1 1/2 years, I said fuck it. I quit and went to
work for Xpics.

The nice thing, I spent all my free time on computers and
learned how to make hundreds of AVS sites with Adult Check.

So, I sent my traffic to Xpics and I was soon making tons of more cash then working as a police officer.

This was during 1996 / 1997, I went to work at Xpics in 1998.

Seriously though - I did get a bit emotional in my earlier post.

I have been on the other side of the law and experienced racist police 1st hand... too many times to remember. But I do know not all policeman are bad - I have been arrested by nice ones too

All I am saying is you can't expect people to have sympathy for those that have murdered their brothers.

I can't expect some races to have sympathy for anyone. Sympathy is an emotion that only higher-functioning species are capable of showing. Some races are very obviously closer to apes than they are to homo erectus and therefore are incapable of showing such emotions.
