There is only so much you can do before you just have to let the issue fall to the wayside for the other party to pick it back up again.

In all honesty, I don't know either of you personally, but I am familiar with the situation occuring in my own life. I'm sure Amp will come around. I don't know jack shit about what's going on, but if it's worth all the bullshit you're going through at the moment, Amp's going to see the same worth after some time.

True friends don't come often. I agree with you, push as hard as you have to. I don't know what this drama is about and I don't really care as it isn't my business but I wish you all the best in getting it sorted out.

In the end, if the friendship was/is really strong, it will pull through.

Also, take into consideration, that not everyone knows what really went down between the both of you. (as it should remain!)

Take this off the board; Amp, just talk to him. Even if you dont want the friendship to continue, talk it out and move on either way. With or without each other. But both of you need to tell each other whats up. Get it out in the open (OFF THE BOARD!!!)

Personally Aaron.. I met you and you seem like a pretty genuine guy..

My whole take on this is if Amp does not believe you, that shows a lack of trust in your word, and your worth.. Word is bond, and word is worth more than gold..

If he cannot trust in the fact that you did not reveal any details, then there is a trust issue in the friendship that may make it not as strong as you both imagined it to be..

However.. I understand where he comes from on feeling violated.. We've all been there.. It might take some time to heal, it might never heal.. Who knows..

But for right now, if he cannot say to you "Fuck it, Your my friend and I trust your word on this" then thats it, friendship over for now..

I wouldnt adgitate the issue to stack more straw on the camels back..

If it were me and my best friend were acting like a bitch and wouldn't hear me out then I'd MAKE him hear me out. I have 2 VERY VERY good friends in life, the others are just good friends.

One of my very very good friends I have known for 15 years, I'm only 20 years old, so I regard him as family. I'd do anything to make him see I didn't do what I was being accused of. I'd maybe wait a couple of days after the incident to let him cool down and possibly see things from a different perspective.

to be honest, I have never been in the situation where a true friend thought I sold them out, but have had a couple instances when someone I thought was a friend did fuck me over.

The solution was simple, I realized they were, in fact, not the friend I thought they were, and I moved on with my life.
