Personally Aaron.. I met you and you seem like a pretty genuine guy..
My whole take on this is if Amp does not believe you, that shows a lack of trust in your word, and your worth.. Word is bond, and word is worth more than gold..
If he cannot trust in the fact that you did not reveal any details, then there is a trust issue in the friendship that may make it not as strong as you both imagined it to be..
However.. I understand where he comes from on feeling violated.. We've all been there.. It might take some time to heal, it might never heal.. Who knows..
But for right now, if he cannot say to you "Fuck it, Your my friend and I trust your word on this" then thats it, friendship over for now..
I wouldnt adgitate the issue to stack more straw on the camels back..
