nothin wrong with an elite party. it's time for the grown ups (at least in the tgp world) to talk business and get to know each other, makes total sense.
you don't see hugh heffner inviting us over to his house do you? i don't think it's so much that he (or other people who are considered elite) wouldn't talk to you, but it's more a gathering to get all the king ding a lings together and share tips, get hammered, and enjoy the company of their peers.

I happen to like Sleazy and I get a kick out of watching others get upset over his posts
but a) I doubt he cares who does and doesn't like him and b ) there's no way everyone's going to like everyone else, so it's really not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things. |

I think Sleazy is one of the nicest guys I have met in this industry. He also has a great sense of humour. I am still (very happily) surprised that he invited me to his party so quickly, and for being so nice to me when he didn't have to be at all. That is one of the true measures of a person, if you were to ask me.
