nothin wrong with an elite party. it's time for the grown ups (at least in the tgp world) to talk business and get to know each other, makes total sense.

you don't see hugh heffner inviting us over to his house do you? i don't think it's so much that he (or other people who are considered elite) wouldn't talk to you, but it's more a gathering to get all the king ding a lings together and share tips, get hammered, and enjoy the company of their peers.

Was a shame Sleazy was sick.. Didn't get to talk much as I didnt feel like getting sick.

I never met Scott in person... but 2 years back when we had more contact on ICQ he was a cool and really helpful guy. And that party thingie... everyone can throw a party and name it however he likes.

Damn it, i ate about 200 of those fucking doughnuts in Vegas and now i'm home, we don't even have any Krispy Kreme's... :(

It's interesting how quick people are to assume that they can peg someone based on one characteristic. Maybe Sleazy does have a part of him that's 'asshole' -- who doesn't? But, he has a host of other qualities that make for a fantastic friend. The one thing I've come to most respect about the dude is that all of his parts he wears on his sleeve....genuine....that's something rare to find in people.

I think Sleazy is one of the nicest guys I have met in this industry. He also has a great sense of humour. I am still (very happily) surprised that he invited me to his party so quickly, and for being so nice to me when he didn't have to be at all. That is one of the true measures of a person, if you were to ask me.
