a few idiots are mad cause we settled with the company that is terrorising many many other companies with threats of lawsuits.

Do some of you know that they have like 115 million in the bank?
what about the supposed lawsuits that other companies filed against acacia, and as a result ended up settling with acacia? did we forget that?

We have a contractual agreement with them just like the rest on that list. I see some pretty big programs on that list. makes you wonder whos intrest is really at heart right?

2 reasons. to cover our ass, and to protect our affiliates. I read your reply fletch, I see your point and I will admit it now, I wanted to cover my ass. But at the same time we made sure our own were covered as well, meaning our affiliates. You and nobody else was at the meeteing, so assume all you guys want.

I run a business, and this was in the best avenue to take to put it all behind us. Just like every other program on the list.

The financials state around $34M in cash, but even that is questionable as to if that money is readily available to be used in litigation, when in their 3Q call, they specifically stated that only $1M was set aside for litigation

2) what about about the actual 11 defendants who are going to court on Feb 6th to defend their companies against the patent claims? did you forget that?

If you signed because you felt it was your best business decision.. then defend your decision, don't defend acacia unless you truly believe they have something that is valid.
