If that's true, then your entire argument is faulty because you therefore have to admit that your argument is wrong - if there are other shapes that would work, then a manwhole cover is not round because other shapes would fall through. You just fucking admited it.

Correct

The child was born before 1776, making him a British Subject.

A better answer is that they are round because pipes are round. And you could also mention standardization as a good reason.

But the reason you gave is complete b.s. - it got popular because it was quoted as a Microsoft interview question.
John is right actually Stocktrader. A circle will certainly fall through just like EVERY shape will without a bevel. If you cover a round pipe (the hole) with a square it will work equally well, however would take more cost to create (more surface area).

As for surface area, consider why carrying beams in buildings are not round, but square, or H-shaped.

This is my last post to your ignorant ass. When I said "other shapes" can fall through I didn't say every other shape possible.

Either way, good fucking day.

Fast response one.

A completely black horse jumped over a tower and landed on a small man, who then dissappeared. In what situation could this be possible?

Often talked of, never seen.
Ever coming, never been.
Daily looked for, never here.
Still approaching, coming near.
Thousands for it's visit wait
But alas for their fate.
Tho' they expect me to appear.
They will never find me here.

What is this poem about?

Wozzers, a famous magician, was bragging about his marksmanship. Wozzers claimed to be able to hand up his hat, walk 150 feet blindfolded, then turn and shoot a bullet through his hat. Wozzers could not see through his blindfold, how could he manage this feat?

Some of these are a bit vague. What does "hand up" mean? If it means he holds the hat up in his hand, the answer is obvious. The riddle doesn't say he can't see under the blindfold and it doesn't say he doesn't take the blindfold off before firing.
