All I can say is that the Mexicans you see there in Hollywood will, in 10-20 years be moving to the suburbs and be semi-middle class. That's the dynamic nature of the US economy. People don't get "frozen" into poverty because of their immigrant status.

You just have a bad impression cuz you live in Hollywood and see the recent immigrant side. However, if you look at some parts of San Fernando or Hawthorne or Whittier or other middle class mexican enclaves you'd notice that their values are no different from yours.

What they need to do is put up "top secret" military bases in Southern California that span for miles. Anyone crosses over onto this land and tries to run, they are shot dead.

And anyone who thinks illegals being over here to do the dirty jobs is a good thing, it's not. There are plenty of Americans who'd do this work. But the employers want cheap labor, so they hire illegals.
