The reason is because idiot racists like you still keep racism in this country going.

Did you read the recent study conducted about hiring black people? It was all over the news. Resumes were submitted with very obvious african american names. The same resumes were submitted with just plain common or obvious caucasion names. Guess who got called in for interviews and who didn't? And it was a by a huge number. Since there is still very obvious racism in hiring, there is a need to force asshole racist companies to hire minorities.

If we (white people) really wanted to give a fair shot to everyone in America, we would put some money into cleaning up bad areas and give these area's better education. Think about it...if kids in East LA got a better education, there would be hope they could make something of there lives. But we don't allow them to, because we don't help these communities. We could help these communities if we truely wanted to, but we choose to put effort, time, and money into other things...and then say "Look how bad these area's are...they are nothing but drug dealers and thugs." Kids develop by there surroundings, that is common sense. By allowing these kids to live in these surrounds and not giving them better education, we have to realize we are just continuing the cycle.

It will even out with time. The social and cultural 'roots' if you will have been cut for africans, that shit takes a long time to build. one of my best friends is black, and i guess i haven't payed enough attention to see him really getting fucked due to his ethnicity around here, but i'm sure it's there and he just doesn't talk about it. he has been fucked around by the state and child support, the state keeping his kids with a mom that spends all the child support on drugs. but, for the most part i thought that was pretty much just child support. the mom can be a unemployed drug addict that neglects her children, and the state doesn't give a fuck.

on a good note, it sounds like he's getting custody of those two finally, i think she fucked up one too many times. i'm especially glad because i don't think he's going to have to go through the traditional child custody court battle we had discussed...

I can sympathize with the fact that black guys got fucked for a long time. Great. Fine. I understand. But at the same time, I never owned any damn cotton fields. I never made your grandfathers pick the shit. I ain't repressin' no one. As a black man today, you aren't being chained and beaten and ass fucked and forced to pick cotton down in Mississippi. So I fail to see the justification to alot of the whining that stems from this. Was it wrong to fuck over the blacks like whitey did way back when? Sure. Is it still going on? No. I do have to agree with l2r4u's (somewhat bedraggled) view in the case of what's good for one side should be good for the other. After all, it IS equality everyone is always bitching about, right? But the fact remains, the sad truth of it is, yes.... if you are brave (or stupid) enough to stick up for being white these days, you will be labeled a racist. Black is beautiful.... but don't speak of "white" unless it's to point out how fucking evil we are.
