one of my best friends is black, and i guess i haven't payed enough attention to see him really getting fucked due to his ethnicity around here, but i'm sure it's there and he just doesn't talk about it. he has been fucked around by the state and child support, the state keeping his kids with a mom that spends all the child support on drugs. but, for the most part i thought that was pretty much just child support. the mom can be a unemployed drug addict that neglects her children, and the state doesn't give a fuck.
on a good note, it sounds like he's getting custody of those two finally, i think she fucked up one too many times. i'm especially glad because i don't think he's going to have to go through the traditional child custody court battle we had discussed...
