The reason is because idiot racists like you still keep racism in this country going.
Did you read the recent study conducted about hiring black people? It was all over the news. Resumes were submitted with very obvious african american names. The same resumes were submitted with just plain common or obvious caucasion names. Guess who got called in for interviews and who didn't? And it was a by a huge number. Since there is still very obvious racism in hiring, there is a need to force asshole racist companies to hire minorities.
If we (white people) really wanted to give a fair shot to everyone in America, we would put some money into cleaning up bad areas and give these area's better education. Think about it...if kids in East LA got a better education, there would be hope they could make something of there lives. But we don't allow them to, because we don't help these communities. We could help these communities if we truely wanted to, but we choose to put effort, time, and money into other things...and then say "Look how bad these area's are...they are nothing but drug dealers and thugs." Kids develop by there surroundings, that is common sense. By allowing these kids to live in these surrounds and not giving them better education, we have to realize we are just continuing the cycle.
