New Girl In Outdoor Settings

Here's my latest little coed cutie. Just got back from shooting her at a couple different locations in the Cascades southwest of Salem, Oregon.

I just LOVE this girls legs and butt.

I'm not sure whether the thought of being charged with assault or of getting a rep as an "out of control" photographer motivates me more in that regard.

I am always amazed by how many people think that being a photographer is all about getting it on with the girls.

More amazing still is, judging from the horror stories I hear from the girls, how many photographers who have been doing this for years still try for "perks".

It's sad.

I never said that at all... just saying that if I had chicks spreading their pussy lips a foot from my face all day long that is all "I" would be thinking about doing. Hence the phrase "How do you resist". (which was sort of a rhetorical question)

That's why I started http://www.modelspdx.com for models in the Portland area (for those not in the know about "PDX," it is Portland's airport code and commonly used as shorthand for "Portland" in local parlance). This model ran into two such photographers who were so plainly after tail in the interview that she never got around to working with them. And then there's the "point of view" guys, which wouldn't be so bad, except that they don't advertise for models to do it, but try to convert a stills shoot into a blow job. Not a good position to be putting an 18 year old girl into.

First pic, shadow of the hand and no shadows on the car.

Second pic, look at the right side of the ass and thigh

Third pic, left shoulder and shadows

And overall the contrast.

Nothing against you but the pics didn?t look right to me

JMO,

Her hand is behind her body in the first pic. In the second pic, I still don't know what you are talking about. In the third, well, all I can say is it's not photoshopped (beyond working on the colors and some sharpening, which I did to all 3 pics). The photo was only 2 hours old when I put it up, and believe me, Photoshopping on THAT level is way beyond my skills.

Well there are some light issues but nothing you couldn't easily fix once you get the pics to a designer. Mind you Unseen is a photographer, I happen to think a good one and I like pretty much most of his work.

I like his work so there is no issue with that. My issue was that his pics looked like a Photshop shot rather than a real photo session.

That's a long ride on a bicycle especially for such an old man.

I think I will aslo interject and say that along with Aaron I have heard many many stories of your "professionalism" or lack there of.

Try keeping your shirt on during shoots. Wear underwear so the wet spot on your crotch is not as noticable. Quit asking your models out for dinner and wine especially the minors. Have a little class when speaking with your models.

I can go on but why bother?

I highly doubt they are altered as suggested. The lighting conditions were not prime but this is amateur work we are talking about so it is perfectly acceptable.

Yes. Quite common actually. Keep in mind that he is also shooting in shaded areas.

I was bouncing a hot light and using a fill flash in this shot which was taken on a bright day under a palm tree..

JMO,

He's working out doors with fill in camera flash and maybe reflectors. This is a nightmare to get right and will screw most professionals with 20 years experience a crew and a lot of expensive equipment.

The sun is banging out enough light to give an FStop of F11-13 at a 125 shutter speed. A camera falsh is best at F4.5 to F8 at 60. Most pro photographers will have a generator and use studio lights, to give the power/light required.

Also he is moving around to lots of different locations and getting varying light.

Tom photography wise, good pics in difficult circumstances.

Not sure that I follow your question. Unseen was using a fill flash to compensate for the shadows. The conditions of that last photo are pretty fucked up but I think it was shot fairly well considering what he had to work with. He is a decent shooter but is used to indoors. All things considered, the pics are fine for his average client.

In the studio lights are great. I will stop posting about the photoshop pics.

Have a good day.

Agreed. One more thing...Since Unseen is shooting with a Nikon D100 now, he may want to check out some of the other metering modes. The Spot Meter can be very handy in these situations.

No Paul, he probably does not use a hand held meter.

We are talking about fill flash in this case, not lights.

Enjoy your day.

For $300 he should. They are marvelous things for telling you what the light is doing.

Better than relying on some lap top and a scren outdoors or even worse the screen on the back of the D100, which is very god by the way.

Tom were you using a zoom or fixed lens?

1: It's amateur. We have had this discussion before.

2: If he wanted to be called Tom then he would have either registered as Tom or told people that he does not mind being called by his real name as you have done. Don't get me wrong, the guy is a self righteous hypocritical prick. His clients like his work though and that is really all that matters.

Thanks and talking about fill flash or lights why don't you talk about the errors in masking using Photoshop?

I will have a good day. Like I said, I like his work but look at the pics posted...can the camera really do a hack job without knowing?
