Truth = Rich states vote Democrat and stay rich / Poor states vote Republican and sta
https://www.usatoday.com/story/money...es/1694273002/
I've been saying this forever that almost all Republican run states are failures. With exception of FL and Texas but hard to fuck up a oil state with a big population and Americans retirement home (but Rick Scott is trying like hell) Anyway.. study shows that time after time Rich states vote Democrat poor states vote Republican.. Problem is Republicans under tax and have no money to run their states which causes less people to want to live there. Meaning a endless cycles of less and less tax dollars. Added to th it s they then give disproportionate funding to big businesses who only move there for the cheap labor because there is no upward push of income level allowing the companies to pay shitty wages leaving the workers and people living in those states as barely getting by.. |

I didn't read the article, but the most successful blue states have huge cities. Outside of those cities (and nearby suburbs) the state is all red. These states remaining blue relies on holding minority populations down in poverty, providing strong welfare for them (and crediting Dems for giving that welfare) and brainwashing them into thinking republicans oppressed them.
The day urban and suburban minorities split their vote between Dem and Republican is the day all of these blue states turn red. |

IL is a special case kind of like how FL and Texas are special cases on the red side.
IL is fucked because Chicago is corrupt as fuck. Outside of Chicago IL is not bad as compared to the local region and the wages are still pretty decent for blue collar. Now to prove what I'm saying, is even in FL and Texas which both have solid economies. The wages are lower than what you'd find in IL for comparable jobs. IL the worst fucking blue state still has better jobs for the average person than FL and TX. Texas gets the oil field exception as people in that field of work get higher pay on average but the rest of job in Texas are mostly under paid. Now the point of all this, is Republicans still dont seem to understand what made America great. The middle class is what makes America great because millions of middle class people spend more money buying things which creates a strong economy vs having a rich bunch of 1%ers with no middle class.. This is why Republican run states are always fucked, because they do everything possible to keep wages low and kill off the middle class which means the young leave their states for the big city coasts in search of opportunity causing a future both brain drain and tax losses which compounds its self every generation. |

You can’t run a state or govt only for the wealthy not expect it to have an effect. Talk to regular folks about the estate tax and they get crazed. It does not effect them or anyone they know but they still want it removed. I have come to accept that a big chunk of the US is just really bad at math. They really have no clue what effects them or why things really matter.
Republicans are dead set against a higher minimum wage but it is about the only way we are ever going to see a balanced budget again. Or we can cut the military. Again no one will support that. |

1 guy can be richer than 50 thousand people. Yet 50 thousand people need cars.. 50 thousand cars need to be registered and pay sales tax on them. They have to buy gas and pay sales tax. They have to pay for insurance all of these needs create jobs as people need to service those needs. Those jobs create income tax.. it goes on and on.. Meanwhile that 1 rich guy, might buy a handful of cars if he happens to like cars a lot... He can have all the money in the world but he wont create the jobs that the 50 thousand people will create if they are spending disposable income. The basic principle of a strong economy is having lots of people spending money, not just a few.. |

Now on the other side. Democrats have their own issues that come across that way. Why can’t we admit we want controlled immigration? Self identifying? Not sure I know anyone who has a real job who thinks that is a good idea or even workable in the real world. Some of our fringe stuff is just as dumb.

Literally every single city run by Dems is an overtaxed shit hole. All over the country. ATL, STL, Memphis, Chicago, Detroit, LA, Miami, Cincinnati the list goes on and on.. And as mentioned if you step outside of the shit hole you step into red.
The post I made the other day about the liberal numbskull needing to run a gofundme to pay his property taxes is exactly why big cities will continue to decline. These cities have over taxed so much it makes zero sense to purchase property there.. A $180k house with a $700 a month tax burden.. It's no fucking wonder why the man can't pay it.. It's a fucking mortgage note in taxes. The price of that home is going to do nothing but decline in the future because the city is just going to keep on jacking the tax up. That's why you can buy homes in these cities ALL DAY LONG for nothing.. Because the tax is too high.

So the point is that rich people like to vote Democrat and poor people like to vote Republican, but Democrats are always on about those rich greedy Republicans and how Democrats are so awesome for poor people because how could any individual know what their own best interests are.

I will say that the tax issue can also go the other way, where you are over taxed. Cali is probably closest in line with that, but in reality that state has the biggest economy so Im mixed if they are over taxing or not. Also noted Cali now has a surplus budget.. The deal is what Republicans whine about on being over taxed is basically any taxes at all.. The kicker is they dont see all the other taxes they get charged.. Example FL has no state tax so people think thats great... well FL has very high property tax.. You will easily pay $1,5k to 5k for the average upper middle class home in FL. You will pay $250+ in state "fees" to register your car + sales tax of course. Then there is the "southern states cop tax".. There are more cops than you can possibly count in FL and Tx is the same.. They have their not so hidden tax called "taxation by citation". Most states with no state tax tend to have a over abundance of cops. The reason is thats how the local cities get their tax money. They tax people by writing lots of tickets.

Red states attempt to go backwards. They try to lower taxes to attract companies, but the problem with this, is companies moving to these states are not just after cheap taxes but cheap labor. They want to keep labor prices down which means the only people working those jobs are people that have to. There is no outside attraction to these low paying jobs, which means there is no real chance to build a strong economic growth other than what that company which pays no taxes brings in for the few stranded people still living there.. Essentually red states create and compound their problems and cause both economic and brain drain because their young move off to the big citiesinstead of building new businesses or supporting local companies and so on.. Honestly its so simple to see but Republicans are very greedy and all they think about is their bank account so its like they cant see the forrest for the trees.. sometimes you have to pay a little extra to get better results... Rich people tend to want to live in rich states due to the amenities not so much the taxes.. Not shit to do living in Oklahoma if you have lots of disposal income.. but lots to do in Cali for example.. Basically rich people usually cluster in the population areas, as there is usally better living ammenities for them. Not the rule of course but in most cases. Rich people are usually greedy and dont want to pay any taxes, yet They want to reap the benifits of higher taxed areas and the better living conditions.

Its not about high taxes creating this "rich state wealth" its people making and spending money.. Example, back a long time ago I used to drive forklifts. I could go almost anywhere in MA or CT where I lived at the time and get a job with starting pay around $18/hr. Go to Tx or FL and the same job they pay people $8 and change.. Living in MA or CT was not any more expensive for me than living in FL meaning I could pocket $10/hr more so why would I stay in FL? This is what young people look at and see.. why stay in a shit hole state and work for shithole wages when you can go elsewhere and double your income doing the same job.. The only people who stay are those who cant leave.. There is a reason why if you go to the southren states you see pawn shops and payday loan stores on every corner there isnt a church or a liquor store... Its because wages are low.. You dont see that shit in places like MA or CT as example..

Example to the gerrymandering, when I lived in Daytona, I voted in 3 different precincts in 2 presidential elections and 1 mid term because my district was blue and Republicans kept gerrymandering it to get it to turn red. I lived at the same address all 3 times. That was also the same place Republicans has lawyers at the polling station in Bush/Gore election challenging people's right to vote and forcing us to vote on provisional ballots which were then not counted. Republicans with out a doubt stole that election and I watched it with my own eyes and was directly effected by it as my vote was not counted in a election that decided the presidency by 537 votes. Meanwhile something like 11 thousand provisional ballots were not counted. I will forever be a enemy of the Republican party for this reason. They do not believe in Democracy and are traitors to our Constitutional Republic. You can never tell me otherwise because I've seen it with my own eyes and was directly effected by it. |

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/o...utlook-in-2018 "Go somewhere with low tax burdens, light regulation, and limited government, young man. Grow up with your country in a red state. That’s the conclusion of the annual “Rich States, Poor States” report from the conservative American Legislative Exchange Council, set to be released Tuesday. Nine of the ten states with the best economic outlook for 2018 are red, mirrored inversely by nine of the ten states with the worst economic outlooks that are blue. Local politics and the fiscal policy they produce, the analysis suggests, determine whether or not a state economy will thrive. " |

In the UK it's much the same. Poor areas vote socialist (democrat) and rich areas vote conservative Republican.
Is the split due to to the party they vote for or do they vote based on their wealth? |

The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) is a nonprofit organization of conservative state legislators and private sector representatives who draft and share model state-level legislation for distribution ... Gee I wonder why they claim red states are better.... I'll give you 3 guesses but the fist two dont count... did you really just say something about heads in asses?

President Trump’s approval rating is at an all-time high ahead of the midterm elections, according to the latest national NBC/Wall Street Journal poll. The poll, released Sunday, shows 47 percent of registered voters approve and 49 percent disapprove of Trump’s job in office. The approval rating is Trump’s highest yet as president, up from 44 percent last month, and is now higher than President Obama’s was before the 2010 midterm election.

I have said much the same but a bit different. It is in some interest to see that the many have disposable income and the desire to spend it. Even the government for the tax base. But without making any conclusions, I have some other interesting bits to consider. When the nation was it's per-capita strongest, taxes were the highest. Under Ike. The states that truly have the strongest economy's have the highest taxes. Draw you own conclusions red or blue but it's there if you look at it. But do keep in mind that not all states generate their revenue by taxing the same way. And it's funny that Alaska which has no state tax, gets all of it's revenue from oil and oil is priced very high right now and demand was strong, but they are in a budget crisis right now from falling revenue. That's just F'd up ! |

polling areas and demographic are targeted, just as the end use' of the poll is targeted. pretty easy to get the results you like. and with the low quality research by the 'the guys that get their information from 'mimes' which is about as reliable as the main stream media, it's not hard to provide 'positive results pushing an agenda'.

Trump is now promising tax cuts for the middle class... What... wait... I thought he told us the middle class was getting them the last time around ! Obviously, he needs their votes. Congress was unaware of the announcement and they are all home for campaigns. But I don't know how they would pay for that unless they totally destroy social security. But it is true, you can buy votes with a statement like that. Even when any smart folk would know it's not going to happen. |

People in different countries vote for different reasons. In America I see little difference between the two parties as both of them need huge funding that is only available from large corporations. So what gets through in the end favours large corporations. |
