I look at poll demographics. If the demographic is swayed one way or another then it's a rigged poll. It's not as if they just did one poll. They do them monthly... So it's safe to assume poll over poll results are a telling sign.

It's about money, alienating a big part of your audience can't reflect well on the viewership, and with lower ratings the ad rates need to go down as well. It's not about anyone's "feelings" or political BS.
