The Phillipines have the largest concentration of Roman Catholics in the world per country. Somewhere in the mid 90%.

Growing up and watching the Easter parade with the sinners self flaggelating themselves has been burned in my mind. Alot of blood, I still remember seeing the barb wire swishing back and forth. Watching those who were to be cruicified dragging their crosses for their sins. Thankfully, I never saw the actual hammeriing in of nails.

If you look at history completely, more people have died over religious conflicts than anything else. So religion in my view is destructive to the human race.
