Funny thing is, Ukraine is situated perfectly to profit from both the EU and Russia. And set themselves up as a natural go-between for the two. AND provide Russia with trade access through Sevastopol via lease and trade agreements. Of course that would require that everyone over there shut the hell up and quit chirping at each other through the media, then sit down and actually hammer (and sickle) out a win-win-win scenario for everyone -- Ukrain, EU, Russia.
But what do I know, I'm just a dopey redneck Canadian living on the prairies where it's -40C today and who happens to like vodka but am all out. :( |

So much cherry-picked info to suit agendas here, distorted contexts, etc, on both Ukraine, former Yugoslavia, etc, now we're even talking shit about Mexico! Not even worth responding to it, some of you guys are obviously nationalists and proud of your countries but I think you're missing the greater point:
It's bad to invade a sovereign country - I don't care of you're Russia, the USA, or fucking Djbouti - and anyone who uses the excuse "well, the majority of the citizens in such-and-such area are majority our culture" is just making a pathetically flimsy justification for powermongering and domination. End of fucking story. If you're in favor of it, welp, I dunno what to tell ya... |

This is going to show up how useless the UN is - How are they going to deal with a country that has a veto?..
Also, I just heard that Russia is going to treat the current government as war criminals..... Its interesting watching RT then switching to the BBC... |

So since, you can establish that some leaders of european countries pushed the revolution in order to reduce the russian influence, i find what happens predictable... It's just my opinion. |

Ok, let me guess: now you want to push a revolution in russia... of course, people have to accept this kind of revolution promoted by puppets... |

welp - this thread proves my point, Europe never leaves its fucked up history and grudges behind and eventually will bring the world to war again. Pretty much the Middle East with better food and better looking women.

I saw a few interviews with Russian speaking Crimean's earlier and they really don't seem to want this at all - They just want to get on with their lives as Russian speaking Ukrainians - Seems sensible to me... |

Simferopol (Crimea): Kerch (Crimea): Harkiv (not Crimea but East of Ukraine): Lugansk (not Crimea but East of Ukraine): Donetsk (not Crimea but East of Ukraine): etс... I believe these videos speak better than some pathetic emigrant, who don't live in Ukraine anymore (he's in Poland now) :2 cents: |
seriously the best solution is a referendum
