But, just as I have a right to sit out on the street making fun of every passer-by, it's probably not the smartest thing in the world. Those passer-by's that tell me off right back are excercising THEIR free speech rights. I also am running the risk of getting my ass kicked the fuck in. Just because you have the right, doesn't mean you should do it. From reading the thread it sounds like the guy(s) waving the flag in front of her were also excersising their freedom of speech by "protesting" her "protest". Marines putting up the flag on the top of the hill of the island after one of the most bloody (if not the most?) battles in the pacific theatre of WWII. And yes, it is surprising some folk do not know that. I'm not happy with the way the country is, but it's mostly anger at those that don't value and treasure it, and stopped giving a fuck.
