Marines putting up the flag on the top of the hill of the island after one of the most bloody (if not the most?) battles in the pacific theatre of WWII.
And yes, it is surprising some folk do not know that. I'm not happy with the way the country is, but it's mostly anger at those that don't value and treasure it, and stopped giving a fuck. To those I say go live in europe and have fun in the liberal mess they seem to want.
Bring back the 1940's baby.
