I have just done something major to my knee - Scream out loud pain - Made it back to my chair but that's it - Not sure if I should call an ambulance or wait until my GP opens in a few hours....

I have taken a couple of Ibuprofen that I had in the drawer - I guess I will see if that kicks in...

OUCH!!!

- Just found a blue pill in the drawer - Pretty sure its Valium - That will at least relax me a bit...

acl is common problem in men over 40. If it's not that then give it 10 days be careful it will heal

I thought it might be my acl at first - but it was defiantly a bone thing - That noise could only have been bone....

It was like a really bad gear change

Do i honestly need to be the first to state the obvious and tell you that you need to go to the doctor and most likely get an MRI to see what you tore and how bad it is?

Icing your knee and elevating it isn't to reattach torn ligaments

Sounds like you tore some meniscus (cartlidge) and that crunching sound you hear are tears or small broken off pieces that are interfering with your knee joint movement.

if it hurts bad....like being shot in your knee and not seeing it coming....it's your ACL... meniscus tears aren't near as bad....
