If I wasn't 12 years older and beyond the age of re-enlisting I would be geared up to go there again.

By making them comply with the rules and regulations the rest of the civilized world have to follow.

By taking weapons away from a regime that doesn't care about humanity or the people they are even representing.

Americans are not only in America they are spread out around the world. The same way citizens from other country are also. For the first time in recorded history many of the larger powers are working together hand in hand while little piss ant countries think they can destroy freedom and security with thier attacks.

Iraq has many more rules and regulations to live up to than the rest of the world. Possessing weapons of mass destructions is not illegal for a country, otherwise the US would be in trouble.

The question is are the Iraqi living up to the regulations set upon them after they invaded Kuwait.

Iraq brought the tougher rules upon themselves. If they had a regime that acted civally they wouldn't have so many rules on thier shoulders. But they choose to keep this regime in power so therefore they can live with the consequences.

The thing is that the rest of the world should be kissing out asses for helping take out the bad guys. If it wasn't for the US, Hitler would probably still be in control over there.

What gets me is that everyone likes to jump on the US because we want to keep the world a safe place, but when the US opens their wallet, giving out MILLIONS AND BILLIONS of dollars, nobody complains about that.

Then you look at these fucking idiots in the starving countries. People are starving, their kids are starving. It's been going on for YEARS AND YEARS. You'd think that eventually they'd get their shit together and be able to take care of themselves, but instead, their starving weak asses have enough energy to keep fucking, making more and more kids to feed. I know that if barely had enough food for myself to live on, i sure the hell wouldn't make more kids, so they could be in the same predicament as myself. Instead of feeding them, we should just send over cases of condoms.

I think that our country is pretty fucking generous. We give out money that we need ourselves and we put our own lives on the line to help out others and what do we get in return ??? planes flown into our buildings and people hating us. If it was up to me, I'd pull all of our armies back home, as well as our money, and build up ourselves. FUCK the rest of the world.

Keep in mind that some of us are veterans, and just because some of the veterans may not have been at war, it does not mean they did not fight for their country.

In Korea soldiers are shot at from across the DMZ on an almost daily basis, but just because they weren't in Desert Storm per se does not make them any less of a veteran imho.

I was in the service, went in during the end of Desert Storm and served my country not in the war but surrounding countries during that time as a medic.

I think I, just like any other veteran has every right to sit behind their keyboard and say kick their ass. Every military person goes in knowing they may be called upon to fight for their country and protect the freedoms that so many other countries wish they had. In fact, people have died for you to have your opinion.

Just remember that the next veterans day that you walk passed a disabled veteran begging for change with no legs, and think about how tough you are behind your keyboard everyday.

I'm not jew bashing here, someones race/religion doesn't make the slightest difference to my opinion of someone, and i know and like plenty of jewish people. but israel has broken twice as many un rules as iraq has, and this is one of the major reasons we are all facing so much terrorism at the moment. Don't get me wrong i don't justify any terrosism on the palestinian side whatsoever, but that hypocrisy and americas backing of it is why the gulf between the west and muslims is so big, if terrorists don't have a cause they cease to become terrorists and those issues need to be addressed along with any military action that's required, else it will never end.

The point is Saddam Hussein is getting older, no one can tell how long he will live but his hatred for this side of the globe is known throughout the world, he will finish his legacy in Iraq by trying to destroy the USA and its allies sooner or later its just a matter of time, even if they have no weapons now or are any threat now, they soon will be and the older Hussein gets the more likely he is to strike on mass proportions.

I'm not a soldier, and I'm not even a US citizen, but I do believe that a lot of military people do enjoy hearing that the people they are out there representing and defending actually support them.

I understand that Canada has announced they are sending more forces to Afganistan, and also are considering what to send to Iraq in support of any US campaign coming. I support this, and if need be I'll damn well cheer them on if I feel like it.


I too am too old to qualify for any enlistment or drafts, but make no mistake here..... IF it came down to guys like me having to pick up a gun and shoot some invading bastard that want's to rob us of our freedoms, like Fletchy said, I'd do it in a heartbeat. I always thought I'd make a pretty good grenade tosser too. Head's up. Boomm baby, boommmm.
