Hemmoroids are caused by constapation,

i'm 21 and I've had one before, so no you aren't too young.

There are two kinds, internal and external. The internal ones just kinda inch, then they bleed out, the external ones feel uncomfortable when you have to put direct pressure on them for long periods of time (aka sitting on them) The go away by bleeding out. So if you notice some blood on your toliet paper, don't freak out it just means its going away.

I rcommend "tucks medicated pads" for dealing with the discomfort, its basicly a big oxy pad for your ass, they come in a big round container and will run you about $10 at a local drug store.

If the hemmoroid doesn't go away on it's own in 2-3 weeks go see a doctor becuase it may be going in to stage two or stage three, which is sergical removal time.

Do you often get constipated? I had a problem with that a couple months ago and really changed my lifestyle to correct the problem.

I stopped eating fast food all the time and only eat it now a couple times a month. I ride and exercise bike every day for about 15 mintues and I've increased my fiber intake to between 20-30 grams daily. I never did get hemmorids and hopefully I will not.

I'm only 24, but it is important to take care of yourself and stay off the "webmaster's diet" which is fast food and garbage foods, not to mention never getting any exercising and sitting on your ass all day long.

I used to do some powerlifting back in the day. Heavy squats combined with hours of sitting at a computer afterwards will tear your ass apart.

How many hours a day do you sit in front of the puter? Chances are, it's more than 8 to 10 hours if you're full time in this biz. So combine that with lifting weights, and it's a recipe for roids.

Sit on one of those doghnuts and drink fiber drinks so you never get constipated, and they should go away.

I started getting them at 21...but then I had a baby at 21, too. Having kids ruins your body, I swear to god.

The suggestions above my post are good ones. If you can't stand fiber drinks you can also take fiber tablets, which is what I do. The taste of metamucil makes me barf. I also just heard that eating yogurt with live cultures in it can help constipation -- I'm going to try that out myself.
