Two kids dead from guns. Parents went nuts. I think there were 5 or 6 deaths in my four years of high school that were car accident related. Besides the deaths, no one cared they were killed in cars, yet cars had killed more than guns. It's the stigma that comes with guns. Nothing more. People are afraid of them so people freak out when there is an accident. I was shooting guns when I was in the 6th grade. Both my dad and step dad owned guns. My dad owned a lot of them, some were crazy ass machine guns he got from lord knows where. No one was shot with them. No one was ever hurt. Why not? Because guns are only a problem when they are in the hands of unstable people, or unless there is an accident. Sane and responsible people with guns are not a problem. Quote:
If I wanted to kill you, I wouldn't let the absence of a gun get in the way. |
And no answer from Fletchxxx...i wonder why.

http://www.gun-control-network.org/International.gif Very high gun ownership in America = the highest deaths rate per 100k in the world. Very low gun ownership in the UK = one of the lowest death rate per 100k. It's really fucking simple. Less guns = less people likely to get fucking shot by a fucking gun. Good grief! |

Let's try again: Should bazookas be legal? |

He had access to many weapons I'm sure. He could have also poured gas on someone and burned them. He choose a gun for reasons only he knows. But that is not the issue. The issue is the kid had problems. Problems that most everyone in this thread refuse to even acknowledge as the real issue at hand. As far as I see it, it's the only issue. But like every other issue in society, no one ever wants to get to the root of a problem. Lets just scape goat it or stick a band-aid on it and hope it goes away. The fact he had a gun, acquired easily or not, is irrelevant. The real issue, and the only issue that is important, is what is wrong with the kid to make him kill someone at school. Personally, I wish everyone (non-criminal) was easily granted a concealed license permit and had to take X amount of training in order to carry. Violent crime more or less wouldn't exist anymore. If Betty the soccer mom was packing, as was Joe the mailman and Jimmy the bus driver, people wouldn't be getting out line so quick. |

Did you see the nice picture I posted? It proves that in America you have lots of guns and that means lots and lots and lots of people get shot. It also showed in the UK, Netherlands and Japan there aren't many guns and hardly anyone gets shot EXPLAIN THAT, GENIUS!!!?!?!1111oneoneone It's beyond me! It's like Markham invented Magic Gun Laws or sommink!???!!111oeoneon You fucking mentalist. |

Headline in the LA Times: Ohio high school shooting: 1 killed, 4 injured at Chardon High
A suspect was taken into custody, but his name was being withheld because he's a juvenile, said Chardon Police Chief Timothy McKenna. The suspect, who is believed to be a student at the school, has yet to be charged, the chief said. |
theres one thing you can be certain of in these threads, its never *really* about freedom or guns, or anything except.... bashing America. If you notice, the ones bashing guns usually include quick jabs at America as a whole.
Its ok guys, hate America! yeah! fuck em! lolz they all rednecks with guns! so childish. |
american gun culture is insane. they think it's normal to sleep with guns under their pillows or patrol their garbage bins with machine guns.
no wonder when people there have problems or get frustrated the first thing they do is to grab a gun and start shooting people. |

Why do you refuse to answer this? Is there a specific reason for it? |
|

well, perhaps, because they already ARE LEGAL? I honestly skip over dumb shit i dont feel i have to state. You want to debate things that are already true. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh |

But truth be told, if guns never existed they would just kill each other with bows and arrows or knives. Both the family and society are broken on many levels and this is the result. Cavemen clubbed each other to death. You bloody English who don't have guns, have hooligans. People are dysfunctional and violent. That's all there is to it. And as society unravels, it will get worse. |

Is this correct? Can anybody just buy a bazooka in the US?
|
bazookas don't kill people. people do.

What's the problem Fletch? You know damn well what i'm asking. Why do you refuse to answer it? |
Quote:

Ok just for you Fletchxxx. Should people who can and are allowed to buy a gun be allowed to as easily buy a bazooka as well.
Is this question good enough for you or are you gonna find another reason to not have to answer it? |
my opinion doesnt matter. fact is, people who can buy guns can also buy a bazooka. Not sure why you want to seek my opinion, im talking facts not opinion.

Should every American who is allowed to buy a gun also be allowed to BUY any other weapon. Any weapon you can think of? Will you finally answer that then? |
Quote:
fact is, its not as easy as you all make it out to be to buy guns in America. I know plenty of people who cannot buy guns legally. You guys think I can just walk in walmart and buy a bazooka and that I walk around my garbage can with a machine gun. As an American, I find it difficult to even discuss this stuff with you guys because you sound silly like a fairy tale. In our country, if you get the proper license you can buy a gun, if you get a proper license you can buy a bazooka, same way we regulate drivers licenses to bigger vehicles like 18 wheelers. we also make people take a test to ride a motorcycle and they must wear a helmet, *gasp* oh the freedoms! fact is its more regulated than you guys pretend it to be and just sit back and bash americans and guns and our country in general, honestly its not worth the time to me hahah i mean, in california i cant even own a magazine with more than i think 15 bullets, and they dont recognize copnceal permits from my home state etc,... but here yall come saying everyone in america just owns guns and walks around in daylight brandishing machine guns. its a fucking fairy tale and not worth the debate. |

Just answer that please and then we're done. It already took an hour to get to this point. I wonder why. |

Statistics show that more people get shot by countries with high percentage of gun ownership. As I proved. Feel free to post citations contradicting that, or just post your own opinion as if it were a fact, whichever is less work for you. |
Not gonna answer it Fletch, i assume?
|
I hate to think what I am allowed or not allowed to do always comes down to the lowest common denominator. A dumb shit kid with problems shoots someone so now I can't own a gun. How fucked up is that? That's actually more fucked up than what he did.
