One thing that i heard before that has a chance of being plausible is that Roswell did indeed happen. However, it was not what the rumours say it was. No little aliens or anything.

This guys theory was that what crashed at Roswell was similar to a satellite that we may have sent out of our own solar system. The theory goes that more advanced races, long ago (100,000 or more years ago) detected likely solar systems to support life, and sent out probes. We will be doing the same thing soon.

A probe reached us after travelling for however long, and as instructed put down in the middle of a large land mass. Thus the modern age, and they back engineered many devices from that.

i would rather believe we are getting smarter, and collaboration is allowing us to advance in leaps and bounds instead of snailing a long like we seemed to have done in the past.

please provide examples of the government and public schools attacking the alien hypothesis.
