What about other people that didn't get paid? Why should they get removed if they still owe others money?

Thanks for illustrating the value in programs where the CC processor takes the funds directly/pays directly to the affiliate and no one has a chance to spend/embezzle money that isn't theirs.

True but your blacklist just lost some of it's power. It's not as useful to others if it only means Freeones hasn't been paid yet. I know less sponsors are going to fuck with Freeones but that doesn't mean they won't try to fuck me. Plus if they know they can get it fully taken down without consequences by paying in the end maybe they will use you for some short term loans? :1orglaugh It would have been cooler if you removed the personal info but kept the name of the site up and indicated that you were paid but others haven't been and the note will stay up until others are paid too. But your site. Your rules. Don't blame ya for what you did.

Roald, I think you're supposed to keep that blacklist up for everyone. You're supposed to make sure other affiliates are paid what they are owed. You're supposed to verify that affiliates are actually owed money they say they are. And, you're supposed to update that blacklist accordingly for everyone.

Or... everyone can just make their own blacklist. That sounds like a better idea.

I agree with this. It might be nice to do a "RESOLVED" or strikethrough the text or something instead of full removal though.

FreeOnes is free to handle their blacklist as they see fit. If you don't like it you are free to grow your site as large as theirs so you you can run your blacklist as you see fit. They run a business, not a webmaster protection agency.

Guys please keep in mind that this is like the first time we ever removed someone. Most never come through and I dont expect them to come through either. I am just as surprised as you guys about this outcome.

Not only that, but it's really only your own accounting you can be sure of. How is free ones supposed to know the details of every affiliate's relationship with their sponsors? Sometimes, people don't get paid for good reason and those are the ones who cry the hardest.

I'm not saying anyone in particular doesn't deserve to get paid, just that freeones can't be expected to know the details of any situation they are not directly involved in.

Everyone will be paid, Freeones wasn't the only one to be paid so far and the rest will be going out in June! I hope to have everyone paid back by the end of June or beginning of July. The delay was because some of the big affiliates were owed thousands so it takes a little time. We will then be moving to CCBILL only so this way if people decide to promote again they know they will be paid. Sorry again and I hope you can forgive us, WE MESSED UP!!!

Sucky situation, I hope you follow through and pay people back. I know how it is to suddenly owe hundreds of people money a ton of money, and not have funds to pay people what they are owed. After Mallick stole all our funds, we were in the same situation and it took a lot of time to get back, and a lot of inpatient affiliates were pissed as hell.

The best thing to do is to do what's right, and pay what's owed. It's the only way to restore your reputation and continue to be successful in the industry. Good luck!
