Desperately needs advice...chicks being with other chicks,is this considered cheatin?
ok, I am really in need of some advice.
My boyfriend and I have been together for a while now and I dont want it to end on a silly thing. last month at Internext I did some stuff with a chick, made out and went down on her. My boyfriend considers that cheating. For that he wanted to break up with me, I told him I didnt consider that cheating, but since he feels that way ill stop. He doesnt care, he says I cheated and wants to break up with me. Its been a month after and I thought we mended things out, but things finally blew up. I "should have" known that was considered cheating. What im asking is first, are there any relationships where the girl is able to have female lovers, second, is it a common thing, third what can I do to mend this, I really love this guy and dont want it to end on such a silly mishap Any feedback i can get will be appreciated, thanks. |

I think its cheating for a few reasons. Mainly its a breech of trust.
Now to me it is cheating if your acts can lead to someone else getting an STD. (no condome/dental dam defenses either since they aint full proof, plus there aint no kissing condoms that i know of) |

Depends upon the relationship, and the boundaries you have established.
Anytime you don't understand what the boundaries are then you need to discuss it and find out. No this doesn't mean you have to ask if you can go out with friends on Friday instead staying home with him, but you should discuss what would be considered inappropriate in your relationship with others. It also depends upon the level your relationship is at. If you guys are just dating and it's not exclusive then you're free to do what the hell you want, hell you're free to do what you want anyway but you have to accept the consequences it brings. But if you have committed to some kind of closed relationship where it's supposed to be only you two then you have violated his trust. If it wasn't discussed, it should have been. Cheating comes in many forms. Anytime you start to devote more time to activities, other people in your life than you do the one who is important to you, you are in a sense cheating them. Let me clarify this. I am not saying you can't have other friends in your life, that you can't have hobbies. A prime example would be my aunt and uncle's relationship. He started to go fishing alot. Sure, fishing is fine in moderation. But this guy started to go all the time. Even during holidays he would take off by himself right after dinner while the entire family was there. Well this went on for many years, until he finally took that next step and started to bang his secretary. Now his cheating went to a whole new level, but the simple fact is he was cheating on his family the entire time. |
