Wrong... President Ron Paul would accomplish very little because laws are passed by the two party houses... If he truly wanted to make a difference, he would have started another party or joined/led the Libertarian Party or Constitution Party. That's one of the few ways the system could be changed, the rise of a powerful third party outside the system. But he didn't do that. Instead, he's a republican which makes him part of the problem and flies in the face of his ideals.

I have more respect for guys like Ross Perot that actually tried to make a difference in the system.

I was asking why we still have troops in Korea fifty years later. Are we still concerned that North Korea is gonna invade South Korea if we leave? Doubt it.

Why do we have troops in Europe? Japan? Do we really need seven fucking US Navy bases in Italy? Six in Japan?

Keep one base per region. One Navy base for Europe, one for Asia, one for the Middle East. Bring the rest home already. Fuck Iraq and Afghanistan already, let them fuck themselves.
