Ron Paul Surges In Polls! Statistical Dead Heat For First Place In TWO Polls!
Days ago, reports revealed that Ron Paul is in a dead heat in the Iowa caucus with Mitt Romney, Herman Cain, and Newt Gingrich. Since then, Paul has also gained support in New Hampshire, where he is now in second place in the polls. Paul?s progress in the polls has been somewhat surprising given the lack of attention he receives in the mainstream media, and the minimal amount of time he is provided during the debates. During the CBS debate that took place on Saturday, November 12, for example, Paul was given a mere 89 seconds of talking time. Still, following that debate, a Bloomberg News poll showed that Paul is currently in a four-way Republican dead heat against other GOP top contenders. Bloomberg News reports: A Bloomberg News poll shows Cain at 20 percent, Paul at 19 percent, Romney at 18 percent and Gingrich at 17 percent among the likely attendees with the caucuses that start the nominating contests seven weeks away. Meanwhile, a poll conducted by Public Policy Polling shows Paul is leading against President Obama amongst independent voters, 48 to 39 percent. In fact, Paul is the only GOP candidate to beat President Obama amongst independent voters. "This is yet another poll that clearly shows how competitive Ron Paul is against the sitting President," said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton. "Dr. Paul is making strides not just among Republicans, but inependent voters as well. This broad base of increasing support proves that the American people are looking for conviction instead of the typical status quo rhetoric being offered by establishment candidates." Source New Iowa State University poll shows Ron Paul within the margin of error of being tied for first place. "Cain (24.5 percent) is more than four percentage points ahead of Paul (20.4), with Mitt Romney (16.3 percent) being the only other candidate receiving more support than "Can't Decide" (8.1 percent). Cain's lead over Paul is within the poll's margin of error at plus or minus 5 percent." For the record, I am an Independent. If anyone here dislikes Ron Paul, that's fine, you are entitled to your opinion but I notice that most people that don't like him cite reasons from things he has never even said or supported, or take his comments completely out of context so I challenge anyone here to watch the video above and dispute anything Ron Paul has to say. However, my guess is that the best anyone can do is "he cant win", "he's old", "he has bad hair", "he smells" etc. Nothing of any substance whatsoever, just vapid, ad hominem cheap shots, which says more about you than him IMO- |
Good luck you crazy ass old loon.

Just curious, what specific position of his would classify him as crazy? Ending the wars and bringing the troops home?

If Ron Paul had unilateral power to do everything the way he saw fit the USA would be a third world country in 8 years or less. Never mind his stance on social issues. |

He supports abolishing the Federal minimum wage, has twice introduced legislation to repeal OSHA, or the Occupational Safety and Health Act and would deal devastating blows to Social Security including repealing the act that makes it mandatory for employees of nonprofits, to make ?coverage completely optional for both present and future workers?, and would ?freeze benefit levels?. He has also twice sponsored legislation seeking to repeal the Davis-Bacon Act and the Copeland Act which among other things provide that contractors for the federal government must provide the prevailing wage and prohibits corporate ?kick backs.? Here are the related legislative links: H.R.2030, H.R.4604, H.R.736, and H.R.2720 http://www.grist.org/article/paul_factsheet |
@Coup: Thanks for proving my point that you fear him and cant refute his positions. :thumbsup

People who bash Ron Paul are so stupid. They're totally okay with the status quo shills like Romney and Obama and Clinton and Cain, etc, but when a guy consistently tells the truth for over 20 years and stands for all of our freedoms and liberties they want to talk shit about him. It's just fucking sad really.
And if you're saying it's "crazy" to get rid of the Federal Reserve you're only proving that you know nothing about the history of central banking and how it's a fucking scam and unconstitutional. Ever heard of a man named Andrew Jackson? You should learn about him and how he fought the international bankers his entire life. He successfully dismantled the 2nd Bank of the United States until 1913 when the treasonous bastards were given another charter (the Federal Reserve). |
|
We could sit here and argue for 100 pages but you porn idiots will never fucking understand. You're pathetic.
All of the typical banking corporate shills are great candidates, but the single candidate who consistently tells the truth and wants to change the establishment for the better is a "crazy old man." lol, its un fucking believable how stupid and mislead most people are. |

Here's Ron Paul's Crazy Economic Plan That Will Destroy The US Economy
Notably the plan does not include an analysis of the economic effects of Paul's proposed budget though cutting $1 trillion from the federal budget would be an instantaneous 7 percent cut to GDP, nearly equivalent to the slowdown seen during the 'Great Recession.' Cain is a Federal Reserve shill and lobbyist and Perry is a Bilderberg attending globalist. None of you idiots ever consistently bash those crooks though, you bash a good man like Ron Paul. Give yourselves a pat on the back. True patriots indeed. |

First of all I would almost guarantee that the reason you looked into Ron Paul is because he would stop the war on weed. Aside from that, I have been interested in politics from the time I was 14 and the economy for a good 14+ years now. I have researched more on these topics than most and am not talking out of my ass. I like Ron Paul as a person. I like that his racist ass has told the truth most of the time for 20+ years. I like that he wants to end the war abroad and the war on drugs and I like that he is consistent. What I don't like is that he is one crazy motherfucker. No, ending the fed at this point would not be all kittens and rainbows and even RON HIM MOTHERFUCKING SELF has said that he couldn't do everything that he would want because it is so ingrained into our way of life that it would be devastating. Andrew Jackson could have been 100% right but the same statement be 100% wrong today. Then this stupid motherfucker wants to leave a lot of important shit up to the states. Hey poor people from some backwards ass southern town, too bad for you but now Religion will be the only topic in school, abortions will be illegal and if you can't afford to move you can go fuck yourself! On top of that, he wants to let the free market handle a bunch of shit that NO FREE MARKET IN THE HISTORY OF EVER has handled properly. This corporation pollutes our water? So what, a competitor will come along and not pollute and if people want clean water the polluting one will lose all of their business! This bank wants to rob the country of trillions? So what? Another bank will come along and surely the unwashed masses are smart enough to move all of their money over to the "good" bank and make the bad one that raped them silly close up shop. Who the fuck needs regulations? Fuck you. Fuck you for assuming that I am some clueless idiot because I can look past legal weed and troops being brought home and say "holy shit, this guy has some wild ass ideas that would really suck for most people". From your comments here I can tell you, you need to do some fucking research. Go look at just what Ron Paul has suggested then look at the consequences to those actions both immediate and long term. I didn't want to get into more than saying "he's crazy" because there are literally HUNDREDS (thousands?) of things that this crazy bastard wants to do and most of them absolutely suck. I even made it clear in one of my first posts that I wouldn't even mind him being President but ONLY because Congress would never let him do the insane shit he has been proposing for 20 years. Thank you and have a good fucking day. :thumbsup |

But since you can't write I'll just assume you are implying that the constitution is irrelevant? You are without a doubt a piece of shit, and have no right to be an American. Go move to fucking China or something we don't want people like you here in our republic. |
