gonna do an cam experiment over the next few weeks. assuming bandwidth will not be an issue (have multiple ISPs in my home) i want to try running a camgirl on 3 sites at the same time with a triple monitor/cam setup to see which works best/pays best etc. if successful and feasible i would obviously duplicate it. just curious has anyone done this before or is 1 live camsite per girl the standard?

Compare the results split camming into 3 sites and working each site dedicated -- that might be a valid comparison.

Split camming into 3 websites and just paying partial attention to each versus giving each site your best attention -- that is a real comparison ...

Split camming (appearing on multiple sites) is the norm these days.

Just make sure she knows to pause her video on the other sites when she gets a private or else she'll give away a free show and probably get a warning... most sites (as far as I know) don't like their models to be on multiple sites (even though a lot are). This is because it just causes complaints... models inadvertently ignore members because they're focused on another chat... sometimes people even jump into a private and the model is totally clueless.

Just make sure you keep an eye on that and you should be fine.

Ok, I am not sure if I am understanding you correctly. From what I read you are planning on working one girl on multiple sites at the same time.

This has been done for years, same ISP, same internet connection, same mode, same camera, same computer... It is called multi casting and is done with the use of cam splitting software.

It can be a very succesful model to use if it is done correctly, if it is not done correctly it is a total desaster.

In my opion done correctly would be a good Free chat site, and one or two direct chat sites. You could have 2 free chat sites and one direct site but the model would have to be very good at multi casting.. When the model hits 15 or 20% conversion on free site pull other sites o model will stop growing.. It is another consideration when the free site is also a cheap site.

Incorrectly is what many models do. they will work F4F, MFC, PVT, and another free chat site and maintain a 3% conversion, but are happy becuse they know no better.

I've seen models who are very good at juggling multiple rooms and can really work the tips because of it. Also, a model can do a private on a site such as streamate or cams.com and leave it going on a site like MFC and pull in a ton of tips simultaneously. I'm not familiar with broadcaster policies these days, I know years ago some had rules against multi camming, but I think these days most know almost every girl is doing it.

i think he's talking about the fact that a model has to be in private X% of her time online to make it worthwhile. For example, going back to simpler times and before working on multiple sites at time, a site like Claudia's (before she was kicked out of her biz) - www.camsathome.com - models might average 20-23% in private sessions. A super hot model that would do anything might be in privates 24% of the time, the average turd that was barely awake, 17% or something. There isn't a whole lot to do to be in private more if the traffic isn't there. If you threw your hottest girls on there with a 55 gallon drum of anal lube and a 20 foot container full of anal jackhammers and eye goggles and they couldn't do better than 15%.. then there is not enough traffic to do 20% or 25% in private no matter how great the models are.

That ratio is strongly indicative of traffic levels and prone to change as traffic levels change. As a model you either need your own repeat biz or you live and die by the site's traffic levels.

You can rough out how much traffic/revenue a site has by how many models are live... as that also indicates % of time in private for the average model.

Interesting idea. I guess it would depend a bit on how chatty the private buyer was, whether it would be weird or rude or uncomfortable to do that way. But, if the private is mostly just performing what the buyer wants to see exactly, and then the free chatters on the other site can just see a hot show and tip, that is a nice double dip.

Conversion used to be time on line / time in pvt. Example girl works 360 minutes and earns a total of 68 minutes in pvt she would have a conversion of 68/360 = .1888 pr 18.89%

How ever now days the math is a little different Example girl works 360 minutes and earns 4,080 credits in pvt 1,500 credits in group, 2,300 credits in tip you would do the math like this. 4080 + 1500 + 2300 = 13,460 / 60 (assuming that there are 60 credits for each minute of standard pvt chat) = 224 minutes / 360 = .6231 or 62.31%

I am old fashioned but this is the best way for me to judge a performers real production.. Still cant get my head around credits per hour.

This won't increase your sales much. The customers will see that she's on multiple sites, and her attention will be divided. As customers realize she's not really into them but more into just making money, they will lose interest and look for other models who can provide a more personal service.

Wow, yeah, that would be my worry. I think, if someone is paying like five bucks a minute, he should get a bit more personal care and value.

I guess the technology might be tricky to have the sound off on the free site but on for the private. Is there software which just manages that? And, of course, tippers do like sound.
