i think he's talking about the fact that a model has to be in private X% of her time online to make it worthwhile. For example, going back to simpler times and before working on multiple sites at time, a site like Claudia's (before she was kicked out of her biz) -
www.camsathome.com - models might average 20-23% in private sessions. A super hot model that would do anything might be in privates 24% of the time, the average turd that was barely awake, 17% or something. There isn't a whole lot to do to be in private more if the traffic isn't there. If you threw your hottest girls on there with a 55 gallon drum of anal lube and a 20 foot container full of anal jackhammers and eye goggles and they couldn't do better than 15%.. then there is not enough traffic to do 20% or 25% in private no matter how great the models are.
That ratio is strongly indicative of traffic levels and prone to change as traffic levels change. As a model you either need your own repeat biz or you live and die by the site's traffic levels.
You can rough out how much traffic/revenue a site has by how many models are live... as that also indicates % of time in private for the average model.
