seems biggy has turned into something of a scammer. even with fuckyoucash, the way the sites are set up is very shady. forcing you to upgrade before you see anything. he says this system works well for him and affiliates but hard to trust anything he says now.

Melissa was the first paysite I did in adult, well before FYC. I was an affiliate, we got fucked over at the time by the guy who was managing the site - Jim from Nebraska Coeds. I was on a profit split, and I was a minority, they were a majority. When she went independent, she had a lot of people contacting her to do her site, including Lensman from here at the time. Melissa's site was great for a period of time. Fuck, when she went hardcore, that thing shot thru the roof, a lot of people made amazing money including the affiliates. They are now out of $, through a bunch of very public poor investment choices that Mutt posted, so there is no $. It's sad, and honestly, I hope they pull through it.

As recently as last week people were complaining about not being paid. This was primarily due to the fact things were left as "unpaid" in payments.php, and I pointed this out to many affiliates who contacted me, because these issues had happened in the past. All affiliates who contacted me, except one (cornh0le) didn't actually know if they were paid or not. The one who was a confirmed non-pay I contacted them about. After about 4 un-replied emails, I told them I needed an answer, and only at that point was I informed they fell arrears by about 2-3 payments to all affiliates. I told them if there is no trajectory to get affiliates paid, then notice has to be given and we need to shut the program down.

True, but you don't have all the facts and honestly, I don't care about posting them. When you have 2 kids with 2 different women, including a recent new born, and they both come asking for more child support, while other businesses are shutting down after being pits for money, the option to pay affiliates goes out the door.

Just this week the NATS license expired. It took him 3 days to arrange a payment of $350 (i think this is what NATS charges for the license, maybe $650). I am not 100% privy to all of his details but I would imagine he's facing bankruptcy.

As for me making money. I have been operating the site at a loss just to ensure affiliates get paid. Now that they are clearly not getting paid, I made it a point that everyone knows.

You say Bankruptcy? What is the case number? If they really are doing that it is all the reason to try to not piss people off because all it takes is for someone to go to the trustee and bring up that this money was potentially obtained fraudulently (by defrauding affiliates) and the bankruptcy will take YEARS to complete.

What I think (based upon the numbers I see) is that someone just decided that they would make more by closing down the affiliate program and keeping rebills than they would make by accepting new joins from affiliates. This is due to the decline in sales. I don't know for sure but that is what I would suspect. Especially if there is no real BK filing.

144 sales * $30 = $4,320 a day in new revenue.

Plus all the old rebills (which you won't be paying affiliates for) and this is also just ONE paysite. And cross sales and other upsells?

$10,000 a day in revenue probably isn't unheard of. At an insane 10% profit even that would be $1000 a day. And you are telling us you can't afford to pay affiliates and that there is a bankruptcy involved? Man.......

I'm not an affiliate and I stated that previously in the thread. But I am an adult affiliate and I'm sticking up for others who get screwed. I don't want to see this happen to MY sponsors.

If you really are getting under 5 joins a day then I feel for you and I understand. But let's do some math. 144,000 uniques and five joins means a 1:28,800 ratio. That's crazy even for an affiliate let alone a sponsor who gets type ins. And you are talking around 5 million uniques a month for volume.

even if it was only 40-50k/day you could put up a blank page that just says join here and you would be able to get 5 sales.

they made some bad investments, sucks for them. however i think its silly to expect anyone to feel sympathy because the guy has child support. so do many, many others including lots of their affiliates. of course saying all this is pointless to you, as you say you are only the messenger but hard times for the guy or not, not paying affiliates is theft.

It really does not make any difference if the story is bullshit or not...a decision has been made...for whatever the reason/reasons...to not pay out any money to affiliates. It certainly is not the first to do this and certainly will not be the last.

If bitching about it on the board makes one feel better...so be it...but I am satisfied that it will not alter the decision that has been made.

It's 150K uniques/month, not /day. Which corresponds pretty well with their Alexa rank of about 70000, 3-5K uniques/day is about right for that kinda rank.

Btw that's 144k (which it isn't anyway) a month, not day, and that's to the domain, which by the sounds of it includes every fhg of theirs, which obviously inflates the figure by a fair bit.

144k / 30 = 4800 per day, spread over the tour plus the FHGs. So at your example of 1:1000 even if it was all to the tour itself = 4.8 joins a day.

Plus all the old rebills (which you won't be paying affiliates for) and this is also just ONE paysite. And cross sales and other upsells? $10,000 a day in revenue probably isn't unheard of. At an insane 10% profit even that would be $1000 a day. And you are telling us you can't afford to pay affiliates and that there is a bankruptcy involved? Man.......
