What about the affiliates getting ripped off who are looking to feed their kids or buy presents with that money? Are they your punching bag then too? It's despicable. The going away note was at least respectful but the way it's being done, not so. Maybe you have a good excuse and there is more going on but from what I see so far you people are crooks.

144,000 uniques a day / 1,000 = 144 sales a day.
144 sales * $30 = $4,320 a day in new revenue.
Plus all the old rebills (which you won't be paying affiliates for) and this is also just ONE paysite. And cross sales and other upsells?
$10,000 a day in revenue probably isn't unheard of. At an insane 10% profit even that would be $1000 a day. And you are telling us you can't afford to pay affiliates and that there is a bankruptcy involved? Man.......

you make good points, but my money says you arent even an affiliate or you are owed < $100.

I'm not an affiliate and I stated that previously in the thread. But I am an adult affiliate and I'm sticking up for others who get screwed. I don't want to see this happen to MY sponsors.
If you really are getting under 5 joins a day then I feel for you and I understand. But let's do some math. 144,000 uniques and five joins means a 1:28,800 ratio. That's crazy even for an affiliate let alone a sponsor who gets type ins. And you are talking around 5 million uniques a month for volume.

even if it was only 40-50k/day you could put up a blank page that just says join here and you would be able to get 5 sales.
they made some bad investments, sucks for them. however i think its silly to expect anyone to feel sympathy because the guy has child support. so do many, many others including lots of their affiliates. of course saying all this is pointless to you, as you say you are only the messenger but hard times for the guy or not, not paying affiliates is theft.you don't know you're wearing a leash if you sit by the peg all day..Comment

It really does not make any difference if the story is bullshit or not...a decision has been made...for whatever the reason/reasons...to not pay out any money to affiliates. It certainly is not the first to do this and certainly will not be the last.
If bitching about it on the board makes one feel better...so be it...but I am satisfied that it will not alter the decision that has been made.When you're running down my country hoss...you're walking on the fighting side of me!
